Last I looked, Kentucky and Tennessee shared a lot of border.Maybe not DART as the old homesick stuff is out the window with SMU or Kentucky
About a 4 hour drive from his hometown to Lexington and I bet that is where he winds up but SMU has serious $ to throw at kids, so it will be pretty easy to tell what he is after here.Last I looked, Kentucky and Tennessee shared a lot of border.
Yep if homesick is the reason, I can buy Kentucky. SMU doesn't exactly scream homesick but I can see why they would be an attractive destination.Last I looked, Kentucky and Tennessee shared a lot of border.
Yeah wherever he winds up, he clearly was not happy at Syracuse for some reasonYep if homesick is the reason, I can buy Kentucky. SMU doesn't exactly scream homesick but I can see why they would be an attractive destination.
He'll probably be hurt. Please Kentucky. Don’t want to play him this upcoming season.
JB Reafsnyder didn’t live the cold either (speculation about Barnes). If JB didn’t spend high school in Ohio, I bet he’d have wound up “home” too. He used to talk about wanting to play at UCLA, especially in 1994/95Yeah wherever he winds up, he clearly was not happy at Syracuse for some reason
20 degrees in Chatanooga, TN this morning. He's not from Florida and I get it huge difference but I doubt the weather is why he left but it certainly was somethingJB Reafsnyder didn’t live the cold either (speculation about Barnes). Maybe but the $ just goes with the territory these days. I bet there was more to it than just $Kentucky and SMU… clearly chasing bags.

Correct. Lots of factors at play. Sometimes kids want more guarantees on playing time. Not totally sure that's the case here but I suspect he may be one that wanted a guarantee and he didn't get it. Fran wants guys who are comfortable competing and it's not for everyone.Maybe but the $ just goes with the territory these days. I bet there was more to it than just $
yeah, kids leave for a ton of different reasons, not just "chasing bags" which the NIL component factors into everything these days, but the roster is fluid until the day all the deadlines are closed for the season of 25, then and only then can you really look at the team and know what you have for 5 months and then it gets flipped on its head all over.Too much overthinking going on.
(1) Nothing wrong w/ chasing bags"- that ship has sailed...long ago. Can't begrudge the kid for wanting a payoff, and playing status has little to do w/ it, imo. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
(2) It's his loss. NEXT!
And that SMU campus is unreal. Best part of Dallas in HP. I really hope they play them there in late October or November next year. Must goKentucky and SMU… clearly chasing bags.

4 hours might as well be 10 hours. 8 hour round trip home won’t happen too often. Plus, let’s see where he ends up. I said before 9 out of 10 times it will be $ that talks. When he was healthy he started as a true Freshman. Thought he was a good coverage corner but wasn’t physically ready to help with the run. that will improve as he gets stronger. Either way he was a loss. It happens.Last I looked, Kentucky and Tennessee shared a lot of border.
4 hours is at least realistic for his parents to drive to home games Friday night or Saturday morning and then head home Sunday, if homesick is really a factor.4 hours might as well be 10 hours. 8 hour round trip home won’t happen too often. 4 hours isn't nothing, but I grew up in Syracuse and originally went to school in Boston, about 5 hours door to door. After transferring home, I went to Boston a lot of weekends to see my friends. No way I could have gone that often if it was a 10 hour drive.4 hours might as well be 10 hours. 8 hour round trip home won’t happen too often. Plus, let’s see where he ends up. A mom I talked to who's son is transferring there just said the same thing about the campus. She also said her son is getting a very nice NIL package. And that SMU campus is unreal. Best part of Dallas in HP. I really hope they play them there in late October or November next year. Must go
