I think it's eerie and kind of scary how parallel the Bills and Syracuse are... Great D with a terrible O that leaves the D out to dry and pretty mediocre special teams and way too many penalties. Maybe these are the hallmarks of a HCDM team?
Anyways the common theme between both teams is that they have horrible QBs who are severely limiting what the offenses can do and to blame the OC's for this is borderline idiotic. You have two QB's who can't read more than half the field and can't hit the broadside of a barn. Not much you can do with that.
I think it's telling that Hackett has opened up the offense much more with Lewis and Tuel than he does with EJ... he is spoonfeeding him because he sucks right now to be blunt.
