This 4th quarter has been a mess; team has just fallen apart.

Surprised just how awful they have been after fighting so hard for the first 3 quarters, Desko should have burned a TO early. At least 4 awful turnovers

Got nothing from Dejoe, Evans, Mariano and the second mid line. Mariano really needed to play well he has not looked the same the last two games. Next years attack unit could have serious issues if some of the young guys aren't ready. Desko needs to re-double the recruiting effort. 2017 and 2018 classes look pretty good though

How about Donahue? Guy is supposed to be the leader, didn't do a damn thing.

Maryland is so much better on defense. They don't even have to slide because they can handle their one on one match ups.Quite the opposite with our D.

I think some of that is due to our lack of athleticism/physicality on offense

He had a great career, but not very athletic and lacks a deep shot. Can't do it by himself. He missed Rice.

Hes drawing every guys top D guy, his game isn't the ability to be an elite dodger, theres not a lot he can do to be honest. Hes a great #2 guy trying to be the #1 guy on a team with ? marks at the other 2 attack positions.

Donahue hit two pipes today and was stoned on at least that many great looks tough game for him. Needed him to score at least 2-3 goals to have a shot.

The lack of elite talent on both sides of the ball did SU win. Donahue didn't get enough help and Mullins our best overall defender struggled, Molloy with a poor game as well. Needed last years attack with this years midfield to have a shot.

The Mullins kid was actually Texas 5A defensive player of the year or something. He was recruited by some big programs after his senior season.

Thats where the Maryland depth comes into play. They just wore us out.
