If his ultimate goal is NFL he absolutely should come back use all off season in an elite S&C program and strive to be even more NFL ready physically (he already looks nfl size to me). Let’s hope he has the aspirations to continue school and to play next year and show out. If he does so and plays well he will get some sort of shot for the NFL. May not get drafted, but he should have some opportunity.
Man he was a big boost to the interior yesterday. We haven't been getting much inside. He exceeded expectations in his first game back. He will be a huge asset if he comes back next year.

If he leaves this year, he’s going to hope to latch on someplace as a UDFA, at best.
vs.
Come back after a full offseason of getting back to where he was before the injury, and then having the opportunity to be The MAN on the DL (along w Josh Black) and maybe garner some all-ACC type buzz if he plays well.
That will set him up for a much better chance to get drafted, coming off a full, productive season, rather than this abbreviated one.
And - he’d also likely have a Grad degree (or be very close to obtaining one) for when he’s done w football.
If he wasn't coming back, there would be more urgency both on his side and the coaches' for him to make his debut before yesterday. He's coming back for another year. We have to hope he's coming back here. I think Stanard as DC could help that along.
