Just blow off steam, but remember people these kids don't get paid anything but are given a free education to play basketball. If the kids don't want to be students then they shouldn't be playing basketball for Syracuse University. Fab Melo didn't want to be a student and as a result he is no longer enrolled at Syracuse University I wish him all the best in his future endeavors, but he is has zapped my will to watch the tournament atleast for one night. I feel like Ron Burgundy in Anchorman with the long beard in the bar depressed.

Amen to that. The kid loves Syracuse, made a terrible decision, and got booed once when he came back. He was treated ridiculously by the fans. I'm sure Fab Melo will feel the same wrath.

i dont hate guys who come to play at Cuse, Once they come here and they come and they go and while you watch them and get attached to the team they become a part of your life and apart of syracuse university and the syracuse community

They become a part of your family while there at cuse and after they leave

So much anger ... and, unfortunately understandable from the fan base. You will hate to hear this andI hope, to a degree I can be a voice of reason. Fab obviously hated school and, again obviously, that is reflected in his ineligibility and is likely suspension from academia. To put it bluntly ... the kid was obviously not a scholar-athlete from the get go. However, b/c he is a SU basketball player and likely without him our chances are pretty well dashed for an NC ... does not make him any different than 25% of the college freshmen that ulltimately flunk out. Sobeit. Hating a kid a spewing vitriole toward him makes no more sense than chastising poor Jimmy Jones, one time college freshman.

Goood luck Fab in whatever you do ... likely the NBA. And I will remember the Fab of 2011 and the Fab of 2012 ... that was a heck of a committment.

That bust came into cuse with over whelming expectations his freshmen year and dissapointed and was crushed by many cuse fans. That bust dedicated himself over the summer to get his ass into shape and become one of the most improved players in the country when he could have easily given up and left.

That bust had some follies along the way, he was our bust and part of our cuse family
