Still beside myself at the TD being called back. Texted a few friends that I was shocked we had a 40 yard play with out a flag. Sure enough, seconds later a flag was down and the TD was being called back. But I had enough time to text several people before the flag was made known..
I’ve never felt so sickened by call. It absolutely feels scripted. Just like in so many previous years, our momentum will be sucked out early and you’ll feel all hope blow right out of the dome. Ughhhhhh.

Yeah, am really hoping the ACC implodes in the next musical chairs ... Hate this conference.

An extra playoff bid is worth like $8M in expected value, if the numbers I'm seeing are correct. Man were we naive to even expect to have a chance today. Short of dominating and blowing them out, which was obviously impossible, it just wasn't going to happen. Whether it was right off the bat or later in the game, if we were at all in the mix, they were going to screw us. I'm only surprised they did it so early, but I guess that's smart because when you turn it into a blowout right from the jump it's really easy to just wash it away with "yeah well obviously the call didn't matter, blowout."

No freaking out...but a reasonable question might be...

IF you're not rushing the QB, HOW are guys WIDE open all over the place? Like if you can't do either...what are you doing?

And if you can't do either rushing four, you might as well blitz and crank up the variance and try to get a game-changing play. I'd rather them score fast 90% of the time and get a turnover 10% of the time than let them score slowly with ease 99% of the time.
