Football is a terribly officiated sport. There’s way too many rules, and they’re inconsistently applied.

Every Sunday I say that the NFL should cut their rulebook in half. Literally. Have less rules and let the game breathe.

More rules mean more ways Sankey and Goodell can get their desired outcomes

I think college football is different from the NFL. The drop off to backup QB shouldn’t be this severe in college football. Middling programs often have a stable of QB’s who are similar talent wise. Backup pro QB’s are who they are, backup college QB’s are the future of the program in waiting. We clearly didn’t have anyone who is D1 worthy behind Angeli.
