"Don't get used to it", aka "we'll be back...this isn't how things will be when we meet again" , etc etc. And theoretically we CAN see them again sooner than 5 years. If HCFB takes the program where we want, then what's to prevent another matchup sooner rather than later?
Different sport but I remember Dan Hurley at UConn stating "you better get us early" as his team was getting trounced on a regular basis. Maybe 3 years later they were winning NCs...as my nephew likes reminding me. Folks scoffed, called him a show boater, ridiculed him for talking smack after repeated beat downs, but he believed in what he was building, and knew better days were coming.
HCFB feels the same way, and wants everyone to know that DART isn't just some slogan, it's a mentality, and that statement was the perfect example of that fact. It's good to have some chutzpah back in the program instead of taking beatings as "ho-hum, just another day in the park". JMHO
