Might cut the cord

Indirectly related to cutting the cord, does anyone pay for YouTube TV on a Capital One Savor card? Savor provides 3% cash back on streaming services but i was shocked to see YTTV categorized as internet and only 1% cash back on my bill. I called their customer service but got a woman who I believe was in India and unfortunately not particularly helpful.
I bet you she told you several times that your call was very important to her

Those are some good prices. But I've got a whole set up that I'm kind of addicted to at this point. Everyone finally knows how to use everything in every room! LOL
I’ve tried the paramount+ free month trial through Apple and cancel immediately which still gives you the month.

After the month is over and you don’t subscribe, they send you an email for another free month trial. You can see where I’m going with this

Just a follow up on this issue, YTTV was categorized as phone/cable instead of internet on my May bill, so I got 3% cash back. I didn't feel like I got much accomplished on my couple phone calls to Capital One customer service, but apparently I got more done than I realized :)

I dropped YYTV last month after about 6 years... They jacked my monthly to $83/mo. Simply too much for the handful of channels I watch.

Switched v
Back to Sling Blue for $48/mo.

I also canceled my ESPN+ for time being and Paramount+.

I have been putting YTTV on pause over the summer the last two years. It ends up saving me $400+. I unpause it in time for basketball season. I do miss a lot of the sports I would have watched in the past, but I just find other things to watch or do other things besides watch TV. I find I watch a lot on regular YouTube (mainly others' vacation videos, as we plan our own vacations).

I love YouTube TV. I've been a subscriber for about 6 years. The only thing that sucks is that it won't work with a VPN. I went to Spain a few weeks ago and it wouldn't work for me which was super annoying during the nba playoffs. It kept telling me that it's not available in that country. I tried using a vpn but that doesn't work.

Not sure why they lock their service down like that. I did a trial of Fubo while in Spain (with my VPN) and it worked fine.

VPN on a Firestick works fine. Can't do it on a laptop.
Alternatively run the VPN on your phone and have your streaming device use your phone as a hotspot.

We've been using YTTV for a long, long time. We have the HD package which allows unlimited streams in the house. This is great during football season when we have 3-5 TVs going on the deck and another 1 or 2 inside the house. It also allows our son (who lives in the same metropolitan area) to stream a couple of items at the same time as well.

That's interesting about using the VPN on my phone. I'll give that a try the next time I'm out of the country.

VPNs only work if the app running is using very dumb code. Much like you cant get around most gambling sites using VPNS. I am surprised many of the sites dont use simple code to limit VPN things from functioning since technically its getting around streaming laws.

Just started getting Hulu for free from TMOBILE. Anything on there worthwhile that I can't find anywhere else?

Here we go again. Got an email from YTTV this afternoon. Negotiations with Fox not going well. Might lose all their channels on 8/27. But on the bright side, I will get a 10$ credit. Woohoooooo

Do we have games on Fox?
