Cry about it, good lord. There’s like just over 5 posters that aren’t happy no matter what. We have 5/6 losing seasons and you want everyone to be RutgersAl.

Couple of them should have been banned a long time ago and you probably wouldn’t see comments like this. I can think of 2 offhand that just pepper threads with negative one liners irrespective of the topic of conversation. I expect that in a game day thread. I guess everyday is game day for them

I get that completely and I do that from time to time but more just trying to be a smart ____ then anything else. But I’ve stopped posting as much lately just so I don’t fall in the rabbit hole of just being negative. So I do get what you’re saying and I find both extremes (overly negative - everything is just fine) annoying. But it’s just as annoying when some posters incessantly point out that there’s a handful of super negative posters. It just doesn’t represent a majority of the board.

Big news. He's the single most important player on the defense. He brings confidence to the whole team. Im happy he's back.

No doubt. It's great news. Not only because Jones is the heart of the defense, but also because I think it is a reflection of some of the key guys believing in the direction of the program and in Dino. That was not the case after the Pitt loss...

Would be great to see him get back to those game breaking turnovers he made happen so often as a freshman and sophomore.

Need better back end, the safeties got beat a lot this year, the CB's made some plays but their youth caused a lot of mistakes too.
A year of experience should make the back 5 better.

The defense as a whole, and the safties in particular, need to get much better in coverage. I think coverage ability is a major focus this cycle.

Its those same "handful of negative posters " that end up hijacking threads and stifling any objective discourse. I know I tend to stay away for a couple of days after a bad loss too, mostly to preserve my own sanity.

Honestly, I think the majority of posters are fine. But I think the minority of people who tend to dig misery wayyyy too much tend to be the volume posters. In every thread. Same themes.
