  2. Bullough said Williams is taking constructive criticism better than when he got here. He sees his issues and is working to improve.

  2. Bullough said Williams has bought into conditioning/losing weight. Already dropped some weight, still plenty more to go though.

  2. Bullough on Williams: "When we first got to winter running. It was like ‘Oh my god, he’s out of shape.' He was huge."

  1. Bullough said the biggest thing the defense is looking for is clear-cut leaders. No one quite filling in for Spruill and Bromley yet.

One more spring note. How impressive has Hunt looked so far in spring. One assistant, hesitant to compare, mentioned UCLA's Brett Hundley.

"I think (Hunt) has that potential. He’s a little bigger framed, but there’s a lot of potential for that quarterback."

Paging Kaiser... Paging Kaiser...

People who don't realize just how much potential Hunt has are fooling themselves.

Add to that his will to succeed - it's easy to see his flaws, everyone can see them. But his positives more than outweighed his negatives last year, in his first year as a starter coming out of an underdeveloped football area.

Extremely excited to see what he can do in Year 2 as starter. Especially with a somewhat favorable schedule to start the year.

Totally agree about THunt. There are flaws that are clear as day, but correctable flaws. Considering his lack of experience and lack of playmakers at WR last year, he finished very well after a brutal mid-season stretch.

Totally agree. Everything considered he did as good as could be expected.
-Split reps in Fall Camp
-New offense
-Below avg WR's
-Still developing as a QB

All that considered I thought he has a lot of good moments that should have left fans with a positive outlook heading into Spring and Fall camps. His improvement in his last 3 games alone should have been enough.

I really thought that Lynch would be that guy who becomes the leader. There's obviously plenty of time still; just surprised it didn't happen already.

That's who I was counting on as well. Seemed like Cam and Crume were primed to take on that roll. It could also be someone like Ritchie Desir.

I wonder if someone who probably won't be a starter can really be a leader-i'm sure there are examples of others, but can't think of any off the top of my head. I'm betting on Hunt, Trudo and Hickey for the O and Davis, Crume, and Lynch on D as leaders.
