Now that is a mature take.
Poor guy's left foot appears to be on backwards too. Sounds about right.
Thor's hammer!I'm guessing Chip calls little Millhouse "Thor".
He went to Georgia from Rutgers so...Tired of winning championships. Wants to go to a place where everything is stacked against you.
well does he wanna come home or close to home to be near family cuz that's what's important they all say, not the $, then change ones mind when the big $ offer comes leaving said family? Not saying that's necessarily bad as I'd likely do it too for the $ we're talking about, but when hired they should all skip the parts about how family was the main driver, dream job, etc. Just shut up, do it and count their $Sure Brown would be a nice hire. But…
He’s currently at Georgia and makes $750K a year.
Georgia or Syracuse, Georgia or Syracuse, National Champs or Syracuse.
Tough decision. Anyone have a coin?
Mjolnir or Storm Breaker?Thor's hammer!
Umm….. this is not remotely close to those situations although your last point is validWe’ve lost quite a few assistant coaches over the years and we survived. I would say losing Nick Saban, Ed Ogeron, and Tom Coughlin are bigger losses than Monroe. I’m sure I messed several more. We lost Coach Mac and survived too. Let’s see who Dino brings in before we determine the program is dead and buried.
I'm guessing that as a co- he'd be getting $500,000-$600,000.This gives some idea what Minnesota pays. It's from Jan 2022 so it gives an idea what they made this past season.
Gophers football assistant salaries increase nearly $200,000 for 2022
Jan. 27—The Gophers football program has signed 10 assistant coaches to contracts for the 2022 season, with the six retained coaches receiving raises, according to a Pioneer Press records request met by the U on Wednesday. Defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, who oversaw a top-10 defense in 2021...sports.yahoo.com
Rossi got a bump to $1.1 million and was extended through 2025. The last year of his salary goes to $1.2 million. My guess would be Nick as Co DC is landing around $900k/$950k. It won't be equal to Rossi but it is a damn good chunk of change is my guess. It won't be long before it gets published. Again Co DC, huge likely pay raise, his dad once coached there if I heard correctly, his family is there and his parents are elderly and he will now be closer. No one on this board would say no to a fact set like that in a similar situation. For the avoidance of doubt he 100% made the right decision financially. professionally and for his family. Good luck to him. He did Syracuse a solid by staying as long as he did. We have done well on rebounding hires in recent years and will likely be happy with who JW and Dino bring in.I'm guessing that as a co- he'd be getting $500,000-$600,000.
Apples>>> Peaches, though.Sure Brown would be a nice hire. But…

Does ESPN have any interest in redoing this contract ?? I mean I don't know what the h*** this guy was thinking I know hes trying to keep the conference intact but he must have seen this kind of thing coming and you Signing a contract that is almost 15 to 20 years long is mind boggling to meBig Ten just has more money to throw at coaches. It's an ACC problem outside of Clemson, FSU, Miami
Yes this one is really tough to swallow. I just hope that they are smart about who they replace him with! They have to think about the very Turbulent times that we are in , realinement and we need to do What needs to be done, whatever it cost because we are either gonna be getting paid very well in the future or getting paid jack s*** it's that simple. ImoHe may not have brought in 5 stars but he consistently brought in all americans and nfl talent.
Yes I should’ve done better job clarifying - losing players that aren’t DQ’d/graduate/ drafted. Meaning they just decide to go somewhere else. Obviously this only really applies to portal era.Huh? I mean the top SEC teams lose 6-8 guys to the NFL draft every year. Usually a couple staff members too.
@#$%&! We better hope for an SEC invite if we're in line behind UMass to join the B1G...Get in line behind umass.
Not to detract from your point but should it be Oranges >>>Peaches? Both have there merits.Apples>>> Peaches, though.
Yes, but….we don’t grow oranges in NY.Not to detract from your point but should it be Oranges >>>Peaches? Both have there merits.
