According to ESPN, the series will be called the Gavitt Tipoff Games, in honor of the founder and former commissioner of the Big East, Dave Gavitt, who passed away in 2011.
There will be eight games played each November with them taking place between Tuesday and Friday during the first full week of the season.
Wisconsin and the other Big Ten teams will play in the series at least four times over the length of the deal that runs through 2022. Big East schools will be a part of it at least six times during that time period.

The Syracuse men's lacrosse team's potential road to the Final Four could include a matchup with one of the country's best faceoff men and an opponent that beat the Orange by eight goals earlier this year.
The Orange were seeded No. 2 when the bracket was released Sunday night and will begin the NCAA tournament by hosting the winner of Wednesday's play-in game between Siena and Bryant. The Orange will open on Sunday night in a 7:30 game televised by ESPNU.
The Orange's potential quarterfinal opponents are No. 7 Maryland or Cornell.

All six ACC lacrosse teams made the 18-team field for the NCAA lacrosse tournament, which was announced Sunday at 9 p.m. (in fact, all six teams will be part of the 16-team field that is set once the two play-in games are settled). Duke, the defending national champion, is the No. 1 overall seed. Syracuse, which beat the Blue Devils in the ACC tournament semifinals, is the No. 2.
Neither of those teams won the ACC Tournament—that honor went to Notre Dame, the No. 6 seed. Maryland (No. 7), Virginia (No. 8) and UNC round out the ACC representation in the field. The league earned five of the eight available at-large spots.

Desko Says Daddio Has an Edge on Country Top Two Faceoff Specialists (PS; Carlson)
Syracuse head coach John Desko talked openly this offseason about the future of faceoffs in the sport of lacrosse. He spent the preseason discussing the Orange's overhaul of its faceoff practice procedures.
He spent the first half of the season talking about Chris Daddio's struggles and the second half speaking about one of the more remarkable individual turnarounds the SU lacrosse program has seen.
"What he's had to endure and get through and listen to, you wonder how many guys would even get to this point," Desko said. "He has a lot of pride. I'm so happy for him and his family that he's had so much success in the latter part of this year. When it's done, it's going to be remembered completely."
That will be especially true if the Orange manage a return trip to the Final Four.

The cool temperature and near-record number of runners made for competitive races in both the male and female divisions at today's 36th annual Dunn Tire Mountain Goat Run.
An Ethiopian runner, Dereje Deme, 29, currently living in Silver Spring, Md. and running for the West Side Cross Country Club in New York City, won the men's division in the 10-mile run, finishing in 49:46.
