The Russian bot stuff and AI fakes are really cool though.
Wait, it’s a Russian bot site. I thought it was the new p0rn site.

DisagreeWhy would any coach spend 3 or 4 years kissing a HS kids arse when three things out 4 are against you.
1: They stay because they weren't very good.
2: They transfer.
3. They go pro.
4. They are good and they stay.
So, 3 years minimum of sucking up for a 25% chance you get two good seasons out of the kid.
No thanks. It's all about the portal. HS kids either need to be one and done to the pros or the odds are stacked against you.
Is he getting “the talk”? Looking for a bigger role? I can’t see many schools giving big minutes to a 3 and no D guy.It will likely be Bell. Going to be made public soon.
Neither side would benefit from him sticking around. Is he getting “the talk”? Looking for a bigger role? I can’t see many schools giving big minutes to a 3 and no D guy.
He’s been here 3 years. Seems like he’d benefit the most from playing a bench role like he did this year and getting his degree.
yet I'd still want his return over JJNeither side would benefit from him sticking around.

How did that work for Rutgers?Disagree
We are more likely to land a 1-2 year stud via HS vs the portal where we have no chance.
End of the day talent still matters.
So because Rutgers going to Rutgers your solution for SU is to only get mid level portal talent and squeak into the NCAAT every year? How did that work for Rutgers?
No. Go after elite transfers. If we can get McCord on the football side we can get an elite basketball transfer. So because Rutgers going to Rutgers your solution for SU is to only get mid level portal talent and squeak into the NCAAT every year?
We should change the culture. No need to announce portal entrances, assume everyone bound for the portal, announce those who are returning. Set a deadline to commit to return by, once decided, have the NIL sponsors sign a deal with the return player with language in the NIL contract on withdrawal penalty.
But don't we need a Fran Brown type coach to be successful? No. Go after elite transfers. If we can get McCord on the football side we can get an elite basketball transfer.
I doubt Red has any long standing relationships like Fran did with Kyle...not realisticNo. Go after elite transfers. If we can get McCord on the football side we can get an elite basketball transfer.

the key word was eliteHe did it was JJ
We have money to get players this year. Whether they want to play for this staff is another story.I doubt Red has any long standing relationships like Fran did with Kyle...not realistic

If true, Indicates the inmates know Red isn't up to building a winning team/program. Very bad loss for Cuse. He'll go to a big program with a top coach and turn into a star. He has the talent.Just read on X née Twitter, that Donnie will enter the Portal.
Maybe follow the portal thread that’s already started before making a blind statement. For McCord our coach had a relationship with the player which KC is saying we shouldn’t be doing. That actually is an example of putting in the work with HS kids not against it.
There won’t be a bunch of elite portal guys. The pool is shallow. Of those few elite guys we won’t win the bidding war.
The portal isn’t magic.
Because JJ is horribly inefficient, can't shoot, and can't defend - not the attributes you want from a shooting guard. Why?
