According to someone close to the Syracuse program, Davis stayed with Hopkins, who has an agreement with the university to replace Boeheim when the Hall of Fame coach retires, early in his coaching career and allegedly did "steal stuff from him."
Asked whether there was any truth to the theft allegation, Davis says, "No, not that I can remember."

Truth? Or is someone to trying to paint Davis as a bad apple?

That was previously reported by someone. Hop, Autry, Davis and the guy that was with Bernie in Florida when he found out (Rothstein??) all shared a house one summer but they allegedly all tossed Davis out for allegedly stealing.

Add to your list Bernie & Laurie who, if the tapes are true, have a very bizarre relationship with boundless secrets in play. Within the list of accusers & accusees there are probably some truths, but think Boeheim was probably right about the number of lies being told without knowing who was and is telling them. There could be a mix & match at this point with Davis telling the truth and everyone else lying or Bernie telling the truth and everyone else lying. Laurie is a very dark character in whichever scenario. Not all of the disturbing phrases in the tapes are likely altered, even if other parts are. She appears to be the woman my mother warned me about.

Yep, so many questionable issues. Also, when Davis initially contacted the police in '02 he was a 30 year old claiming this occurred 12 years back. PD says statute ran, can't prosecute. However, more importantly, this suggests that he was 18 and of legal age. If he was allegedly molested when he was a juvenile, why not say so to police from the onset...instead of saying 12 years ago, he would have advised police that it all started some 15-16 + years ago. No mention in the information released today in the PS regarding the initial police report refuting that it was more than 12 years prior from the time he was 30...
