All I can say is that there were some negative recruiting going on at the last minute. It was towards a specific coach. I will leave it like that.

Well that sucks. I have my guesses over which coach, none of which are educated. That would have been a nice get.

A number of teams? Like 10% of P5 teams? Are you seriously living on that? This is not a opinion. This is common practice. You keep bringing up anomalous examples and acting like its the norm. We are all frustrated with the season but dont let your emotions keep you from thinking reasonably. You act like every 18 year old QB is cut from the same cloth.

Again, not saying all teams but need to play the hand your dealt with right? We had a bad hand so need to play it as best we can. Clearly recruiting is not a exact science and guys like Summers, Amie did not work out and think another transferred. Willing to give the coaches a airball this year and get guys ready and house in order for next year. Again my opinion yours may differ

This staff had a real and I mean real shot at landing Brock Purdy and they chased after Amie because of the Texas connection that is never going to happen at Syracuse. Purdy would have been a god send to this program and this staff made a monumental blunder.

Is it chasing if you land the guy? It was only a blunder if there were red flags about his academics during recruiting. He had no trouble qualifying, so maybe there weren't any.
