Do we finally get respect putting Clemson against the ropes in Death Valley until the last drive? Do we drop in the polls? Do we get gameday? Do we beat the lowly Irish by 3 TDs?

Got to beat ND. My concern is we got more and more beat up today. Guys came back, but guys were going down left and right. I hope we don’t come out and lay an egg next week. Have to keep building. ND is not very good. Need to win at home. Can’t let 1 loss turn into 2 and so on.

Best way to move forward is to fire
Dino and promote Tony white. Don’t care what you do w beck and anae, unless they were calling the plays (then fire them too)

If we do it won’t be much. Clemson is a media favorite.
2) Do we drop in the polls?

Yes. We should, but not much. Hopefully we stay in the top 20 but that will depend on how other teams do. Example: If #9 UCLA gets blown out by #10 Oregon, will UCLA drop below us?

3) Do we get gameday?

No. And I don’t know if I ever want those guys on campus. They made some politically correct comments today, but in general they don’t seem to respect Syracuse.

I’d rather have ACC The Huddle on campus.

4) Do we beat the lowly Irish by 3 TDs?

Probably not. 21 points is a huge spread.

Although they’re inconsistent, ND is still a talented team. Their O-line is still good. I think they will attack our weakest position and try to beat us up and wear us down with a run game like Clemson did.

Worst coaching of the year and that’s saying a TON.

Feel bad for the players. They had that game won, coaches lost it for them.
We would’ve been better off running the ball and then punting every single time in 2nd half then whatever the hell we witnessed .

So firing the guy that got us to 6-0 is the answer
That’s just crazy talk
Coaches did not lose the game, sure some dumb things. Player mistakes and stupid penalties cost us the game.

So not running the ball at all (when our best player is RB) and waiting 25 seconds to call a timeout didn’t cost us the game?

It's a big deal for the brand of the program, which is important in numerous ways - recruiting, NIL deals, conference realignment, etc.

No
99 and Wax making bone head plays getting 15 yard penalties did. We had them dead and momentum coming back.
Forcing that terrible throw with Jackson open in the end zone was the dagger.
That is not coaching.

Worst post of the year and that’s saying a TON
I’ve already put this clown on ignore I’d recommend the same.

Team was 6-0 for the first time since 1987, lost by 6 on the road against a top 5 Clemson team that hasn’t lost at home in 6 years, and we should fire 3/4 of the staff. I mean that on stupidity alone should earn a perma ban.

Oh boy, someone ran out of their Prozac
Potential emotional overreaction? Yes. But I’m shocked more people on here aren’t being critical of the boneheaded play call the entire 2nd half.

We have no idea if Tucker is healthy enough to take a pounding, he came out several times on his own. Wasting those 25 seconds before calling the final TO was terrible but fire people? Please

Every other post is critical of the 2nd half play calling. We're 6-1 and our lone loss is to the #5 team in the country in their house where they've won 38 in a row, oh and by 1 score by the way. Calling for firings is insane.

Personally, as much as I love Tucker, I'd say Shrader has been our best player this season. And Gadsen. Tucker is also hurting from a couple of injuries and is not at full performance. Is he good, yes. Can he be great, yes. But we have not been winning by running him. 6-0 has been a similar combination to what we did today.

He’s been seriously banged up since the Wagner game, he’s got a wrap on his leg and after most long plays he is slow in getting up. He looked best on that wheel route but he also wasn’t hit into the ground at the end of that play.

People thinking we can run him 20-30 times in a game right now are literally bonkers. And Lequint Allen, as much as I love his potential, is a true frosh and there is a significant drop off there right now.

People are still going to doubt us. They'll wonder if this is the beginning of the end since we finally got to the tough part of the schedule. We need to win going forward to get respect.
