That was a two Zantac game for the 'ol Pistol. Are you kidding me? I hope Desko breaks that game film down and develops a sound way to attack that zone. You know someone else is going to throw that 1-3-1 like set at us next season. It was excruciating to watch. Every time we got inside of it the ball handler was swallowed by 3 or 4 guys. We have to cut faster on the weak side.

Holy cow what a win! I hope Ianzito is able to play next week.

But we clearly couldn't solve this one. They came out of that defense late in the game, which opened up some lanes for us. We had to hit two VERY tough shots to tie it up. Those were not gimmes. Thankfully UNC and Denver aren't defensive juggernauts.

I thought we did an admirable job at the X considering some of the stinkers we've laid in the last two weeks.
