Donnie yes, JJ no.I’m almost positive Donnie/JJ are the highest paid players.

Regardless, none of these players are worth even a fraction of what they're being paid and are stealing money. As are 99% of the college basketball/football players in the country.I’m almost positive Donnie/JJ are the highest paid players.

He legit trips over his own feet sometimes and just throws the ball to whoever on the way downSome of his turnovers are comically bad.
Is that how they teach hoops in Canada these days?
If anyone goes back to watch his last 2 years at Tech and just looks at his stat lines he was really up and down.He legit trips over his own feet sometimes and just throws the ball to whoever on the way down
Stats aside, he just doesn’t look like a very good playerIf anyone goes back to watch his last 2 years at Tech and just looks at his stat lines he was really up and down.
His best games were against the top of the league but then losses to the bottom a few days later.
I think we all hoped it would be different here but there’s a trend forming that he is not an every night on his A+ game point guard. He may actually win us a big game or two but if we drop games against Hofstra or GT and BC it doesn’t matter.
If the other schools are offering to pay for scholarships on top of NIL money, Syracuse doesn't really have much choice there then.Regardless, none of these players are worth even a fraction of what they're being paid and are stealing money. Yes, I'm screaming from my lawn. But if they're going to get paid, then the cost of their athletic scholarship and all of the benefits they receive as a Division I athlete should be deducted from that payment.
That, or they should be paying for school like the rest of the University population. At what point do we say enough is enough with this stuff?
If you watch other games, it's shocking how much other teams move. Our O is 2 guys standing in the corner, 2 guys extended on the wings, a pass from the top and then some kind of isolation, 1-on-1 move or a forced, contested 3.During the Alabama game last night they kept talking about their "perpetual motion" offense and it was just awful. Awful. Awful.
The "no motion" offense we employ at Syracuse requires so much more discipline!
Getting a bunch of 18-22 year old men to stand still that much during a basketball game takes REAL coaching. LGO!!!!
It’s not an SU thing - it’s a system thing. It’s all ridiculous. If the other schools are offering to pay for scholarships on top of NIL money, Syracuse doesn't really have much choice there then.
Other than a slight physical resemblance and same number (and both being Canadian), they aren’t alike. Ennis made everyone better and could take over offensively if needed.George is like a poor man’s Tyler Ennis. The problem is we run no offense and he’s not athletic enough to get by his man.
That’s a lot of similarities!Other than a slight physical resemblance and same number (and both being Canadian), they aren’t alike. Ennis made everyone better and could take over offensively if needed.
Lol haahah toucheThat’s a lot of similarities!

Good point. On the other end of the spectrum, think about Mintz. He could get points in Red's offense because he was a far better talent and did it a lot on his own (which drove most of us crazy). He essentially didn't need a system to score. They use the term in football, "system quarterback", George is a system PG. He needs to be in an offensive system; he doesn't have elite skills, meaning he isn't going to blow by his man and get to the basket or he isn't going to bomb 35 footers on a regular basis, so he needs an offensive system to create for him.
Where is Judah now?Good point. On the other end of the spectrum, think about Mintz. He could get points in Red's offense because he was a far better talent and did it a lot on his own (which drove most of us crazy). He essentially didn't need a system to score.
