There's been some prior mentions that the SU game is getting very little coverage nationally. I think that most talking heads think the 8/9 game is a coin flip who will lose the #1 seed in the 2nd round, so why bother talking about it. Last time SU was in the 8/9 game was 20 years ago, which was a lifetime ago in terms of media outlets and social media.

8/9 games dont usually get much hype. first weekend is all about upsets and theres no upsets in that game. cuse-gonzaga will be a big time 2nd round matchup that gets alot of buzz.

There's no really great story to come out of this game -- Neither team is particularly interesting this year, there's not an extremely intriguing player in the game, and no one would be particularly surprised if either team wins.

1,600 losses dealt out between two coaches in the second round will get people talking though.

It's just not the same without Gottleib crying we don't belong in the dance.

He tried once via tweet in the lead up, but then gave up quickly since basically every bracket expert had us on the 8/9 line.

Clay Travis called us great this morning and said he can see us knocking off Zaga, FWIW
