Conley is valuable because he is a solid player and his expiring contract creates cap space. A team like the Bulls could attract FAs a lot easier than a team like Memphis. This is a 3 player draft. I'd take Lonzos expected growth starting from a baseline of 10/6/6 with elite defense at ages 19/20 over anyone in this draft outside of the top 3 and possibly Garland. Hunter & Culver don't excite me in any way.
Also why would they ever consider dealing for Conley when they're entire core is 20-23? That's ridiculous.
The 2003 draft class is Darko away from doing that.
Also Culver and Hunter can shoot. They have defensive upside potential. One of those guys could blossom into a Paul George type player. I would rather have that upside than a PG who can’t shoot and in the modern NBA is an almost necessity. This is a 3 player draft. Whomever acquires Conley should be a team trying to get better while trying to get cap space for FAs.
Thus Chicago is that type of team and plus they need a veteran and a PG to go with their young foundation.
Right now the Knicks are less of a clown show than the Lakers.
Steve Mills and Scott Perry are competent NBA adults who know what they are doing.
Jim Dolan hasn’t embarrassed himself since the Oakley incident.
Lakers have Pelinka snaking their legend who is getting killed for being the team President and not the GM.
The owner is wishy washy and doesn’t appear like she wants to anyone to dislike her thus won’t make hard decisions.
The Lakers are more dysfunctional the Knicks have people in place as long as their owner just stays playing music with his band and out of the public you can see the plan.
True I forgot about that.He banned a fan from the garden like 2 months ago!
If Ball gets dealt to Chicago for #7. Is it worth the Pels dealing AD for Ingram, Kuzma, 4 and 7? As the resident Pels fan, I think I'd take it. 3 top 7 picks with 2 good young players is a nice haul. Ingram though presents his own problems if you trade for him. What the hell do you pay him after the season?
that is 100% made up bsRamona, who is Jeannie's unofficial spokeswoman
two days now of los angeles talk radio calls are still running heavily against magicI've heard and read a lot of Lakers fans almost viewing yesterday's Magic appearance as a positive. Now the organization can say Magic was a big cause for the chaos but we're tightening things up now and moving forward in a cohesive direction. Ramona, who is Jeannie's unofficial spokeswoman, is basically playing this card to the public as well.
Klutch Sports will make sure LeBron gets help.Thinking about it more...I mean, that’s basically Ball(#2 pick), Kuzma, Ingram(#2 pick), AND the number 4 pick we lucked into? 3 top 5 picks and a guy who was played like a top 5 pick? Not only no, but hell no. Let’s build with our 4 talented young guys. And we’ve got max slots! And we’ve got LeBron! We don’t need to trade everybody else with a pulse for one guy.
* I have zero faith that we’ll play this right. The Pau Gasol trade was our last great move that counted. The Chris Paul trade curse is real.
Wow, what a moronic foul by Middleton
The Raptors were 17-5 without Kawhi. They could play without him... except in the playoffs where the entire team played scare and totally relied on him.
The other are stepping up tonight... even Green and FVV are almost acceptable.

What was he thinking??
Ingram is a borderline All-Star guy.A healthy Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, whoever we draft at 4, and whatever good players we sign will be plenty of help.
I can truly say just as a basketball fan - even if this was another team we were talking about - I’d much rather see an aging but still outstanding LeBron help a young team find its way and grow into a playoff team and a contender the next few years than try to repeat his last Cleveland run(except being older).
Of course, I’m the kind of fan who was loving watching old MJ leading a young Wizards team into playoff contention. And they probably would’ve made it if he didn’t get hurt. The “ringzzzz” mouth breathers were all crapping on him because he wasn’t the best player in the league winning “ringzzzz” anymore, but I thought it was beautiful stuff that he was leading one of the worst teams in the league the previous year in the playoff hunt. That injury was a bummer.
How’s Bledsoe in the show?
