According Harrabob each additional game in the NBA Finals after game 4 is worth 1.2 extra million towards the cap.
Which is why the rumor is Steph wanted to lose game 4 2 years ago when he was a FA.

What's everyones thoughts on tonight? I really have no idea who wins. Feel like GS finds a way to pull this one out at home but Toronto has looked like the better team this entire series and has won 10/12 quarters so far.
Surprised though that GS is favored by 4.5. I expect Toronto to go at Klay on defense and test his hamstring early to try and wear him down.

I think GS losing Looney is much bigger than people are giving credit for. He's so good on defense and his ability to switch/trap and then his finishing ability on offense is pretty reliable as well. Cousins doesn't give them the same defensive presence and I don't know if Bogut's body can consistently give the minutes at this point in his career.

While I am okay with this moron minority owner of the Warriors getting a 1 year ban and if they wanted to make him sell its fine by me.
The problem I have is how the people in the media are getting involved and piling on while these same media frauds didn’t say anything about Mark Cuban when his organization was found it had a s e xual harrasser as its leader and team employee and the league let him slide.
That crap was completely ignored.

It’s inconsistent and that is a joke.

A big part of it is timing. If that story had broke while the Mavs were in the finals it would be huge,

THIS GS crowd nerdy as sh6t. They were ALL home watching Urkel in the Hardaway era. Calling Ewing “E-Wing” when watching their friends play NBA Jam at the arcades. Friggin nerds. GS used to have the hardest crowds in the league and these dorks are leaving what could be the last game at Oracle early. Screw them.

Just booked my hotel in downtown Toronto on Monday night (game 5). 4 hour drive from Ottawa.

Will try to get some tickets, but I suspect I will just be in the city to enjoy the game...and hopefully the party afterwards.

As a basketball fan I hope KD comes back just so this gets interesting. Toronto has completely outclassed them so far. GS having to win 3 in a row, with 2 in Toronto?? Even if KD comes back and is somehow immediately 100%...that’s really hard. Toronto has the best player on the floor and a top notch defense, and role players that are playing well.

The list of NBA champions that I can think of whose best player was under 6’6...2015 GS, 1989 and 1990 Detroit. 2006 Miami. Maybe 2004 Detroit? You can argue Chauncey, but in that defensive era Ben Wallace was a beast, and Rasheed was their most talented player. That’s not many teams.

It’s hard to win it all with a little guy who has to shoot stepback bombs on key possessions as your best guy, IMO.

The GSW played themselves last game by running Curry into the ground. They made the error of 3/4 punting on the game, yet still utilized Curry like they were all in. The short turn around tonight really showed. He had nothing. Thompson was excellent. Curry was an shadow of himself.

Them losing this series is their best pitch to Durant that his legacy doesn’t need him to win elsewhere.
If the Warriors won this he was 100% gone. Maybe now it’s 90% gone.

I’d let him walk and rebuild depth around Curry and Klay. This super team crap is overrated. But I think there’s a good chance he comes back now according to the media especially if Kyrie goes to the Nets which makes no sense to me.

They won’t have cap space. Iggy and Green will only give the Warriors 15 million if they give Klay the max.
That 15 million goes down if they resign Looney or Cousins.

Warriors will be a contender but losing Durant like the Celtics losing Kyrie doesn’t give those teams those players cap space to replace them.

If Kyrie doesn’t go to the Lakers or teamup with Durant he is the dumbest player in the NBA. Going to the Nets without Durant or another star he will win nothing.
