Very Lakers-Pistons 2004 where every single Laker not named Shaq or Kobe(and he was subpar by his standards) did absolutely nothing.

Payton had dead legs and was terrible. Malone was hurt and terrible. Fisher stunk. Fox was washed. George stunk. Kareem Rush stunk. Everyone else had always stunk.

Those 3 peat teams had guys like Horry, Fox, Fisher, Shaw, Rice, Harper, etc come through.

Much like those 04 Lakers, this version of the Warriors is not deep.

They’ve played 102 playoff games the past 5 seasons. That wear and tear adds upfor older players. Iggy and Livingston are about done. Klay was due to get nicked up. The end of the bench has little depth compared to Toronto.

I think Iggy still has a little something left, but Livingston is toast. Hell of a career for him

I think some were doing the polite “give the guy a hand” thing as he walked off, but many were cheering the injury when he went down.

The group think and adrenaline that goes with being a sports fan at a game can be a crazy thing.

I mean...they’re so close to a chip and here comes KD shooting great and they’re losing and looking at game 6 in GS...

I get it on some level. But when he’s had a fairly serious injury, and anytime you have even a question of “could it be Achilles”...that’s a bad look.
