I’m ecstatic just for dumping Lonzo. Also Ingram may never play again and I don’t care about the 4 pick in a shitty draftLakers won this deal.
They gave up lottery tickets for a sure thing.
Nothing they gave up is going to bite them.
The Porzingis trade right now looks bad.
Yeah, I don't think it's going to be a walk.

OKC already proved three guys doesn't cut it in the west
So they got Bron, Brow, and Kuz ... Even with Kemba they got no depth
At best WCF losers next two years then Bron fades a la Kobe and AD injury bug hits
They gonna play 48 every night? If Kemba joins then the depth is of minimal worry. Main hope for the rest of the west is they have to settle for boogie and resigning KCP.
JJ, good call. His name's being tossed around, as is Jimmy Butler's. Derrick Favors possibly being eyed by LA, too. With LeBron James the Lakers don’t need a 30 million dollar PG.
They need shooting.
Go after Jeremy Lamb, Danny Green, JJ Reddick if your LA.
Redick is a great fit.
Kemba is a volume scorer that is something the Lakers don’t need.
They gonna play 48 every night?
The 35 - 40 yr old scrubs Bron has been surrounding himself with the past few years?Sure. If you ignore the ringchaser vets that exist every single year. Similar question to how Cuse bball will get down to the scholarship quota every year when more commit then have spots for at the time.
It's not going to be a fun team to watch. The 35 - 40 yr old scrubs Bron has been surrounding himself with the past few years?
Three bigs, maybe one guard / facilitator? It's not going to be a fun team to watch.
It's a classic LeBron move. The future doesn't matter post-LeBron.
Considering LeBron becomes a FA in 2021 this is a good job by David Griffin.
Oh, they'll uncover some roster filler that puts up empty stats that LeBron passive aggressively undermines, because deep down he knows that player can't be counted on when it matters, and the time will come when it matters and that player will disappear, and LeBron will blame the coaching and front office for their lack of success.Three bigs, maybe one guard / facilitator?
Yeah. Bron will create, AD will get his 20 and 10, Kuzma will probably get 17 and 8, but where else they going to get productivity if Bron or Brow are hurt
What could they do? There was an article this week that said Porzingis threatened to play in Europe if they didn’t move him. At first I thought that wasn’t a very serious threat, but then I realized he still isn’t being paid that much. With as much animus as he has for the knicks office, he very well could have made as much/more in Europe and been happier for a year. But—does a team retain rights to a player for that period if they pull such a ‘stunt?’ They’re contracted to play x number of years, not for just a certain calendar period, no?The Porzingis trade right now looks bad.
Do you like LeBron?Oh, they'll uncover some roster filler that puts up empty stats that LeBron passive aggressively undermines, because deep down he knows that player can't be counted on when it matters, and the time will come when it matters and that player will disappear, and LeBron will blame the coaching and front office for their lack of success.
