Yeah, I give it about 2 weeks before Anthony Davis starts complaining about playing center.

Maybe less.

He's gonna need to get over it because that's probably how every team will want to utilize him for the rest of his career.

Especially with this current roster construction where they only have 3 players and all of them are best used at either PF or C.

If Murray and White are both healthy and play 70+ games each then I think the Spurs could be looking at a top 4 seed. They were the 7 last year with them playing 0 games together.

And they still lose in the first round due to Deplayoff Dechoker

For winning basketball, the 5 is his best position. I'm not arguing that.

A big star like Anthony Davis doesn't go play for the Lakers so he can get beat up soaking up their center minutes though.

I guarantee if he's playing the 5, there are going to be rumblings, and they're going to happen quickly.

I guess because the Warriors are able to pay more than any other free agent suitor. However, it wouldn't work unless it is arranged in advance. And wouldn't that be collusion, or at least borderline collusion?

The Warriors would do it to create a $30m+ trade exception so that they could take on guys other teams want to dump in order to fill in some depth that they will otherwise not be able to create since they will never again be under the cap.

The Knicks would do it because KD might demand that its the only way that he will sign there.

It's a win-win in that scenario. The Knicks wouldn't really have to deal anything of substance.

I imagine that every team that created max cap space would sign up for KD at this point still. What else are they going to wait for? Next years FA class is garbage. None of these teams are guaranteed to even bring in 1 of the max guys so there is definitely going to be some big time losers in a couple weeks. Completely feasible that Kawhi, Klay, Middleton, Kemba and Butler all choose to re-sign. Then Kyrie probably to the Nets, what's left out there? Vucevic and Harris? Gross.

You're assuming AD is an automatic resign with the Lakers and nobody takes a 1 year deal this year. There's been talk Kawhi may do a 1 and 1 with Toronto according to Windhorst.

Looks like you can get either one for free at this point. I was contemplating as a Pels fan what I'd be willing to do for Wiggins. Think I'd consider Wiggins and #11 for Solomon Hill's expiring. He might fit well with this group and in Gentry's system. Someone just has to erase his ball stopping, mid-range jumper loving ways. Which probably won't ever happen.

We mostly do. The next guy after those 2 if they are even available would be Draymond. Whatever contract he ends up with is going to be a disaster.
