Kyrie to the Nets.
Kyrie is a talented dude but he is kinda crazy. For his sake I hope he is happy in Brooklyn but unless Kd goes there he isn’t going to win squat there. The role players on Brooklyn aren’t as good as Boston and he hated the young guys on Boston. He is going to LeBron those young Nets players and he is going to cause someone else get D’Angelo Russell cheap.

I made a joke about this a few weeks back, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kyrie is trying to force his way out of Brooklyn within a year

Steve Balmer disagreed with you about Blake’s importance to the franchise 6 months before you say everyone in the organization was on the same page that it was time to move on. And telling Kawhi we traded Blake away 6 months after his free agency because he was getting hurt probably isn’t the best angle to take with a guy who just missed a season with a quad injury.

I’m not arguing that no free agent will want to sign with the Clippers. I gave my opinion on why I think Lakers and Toronto are more attractive options for Kawhi than the Clippers. Maybe I’ll be wrong.

I maintain my view that the Lakers seem to be doing a pretty good job of building a contender and aren’t living in the past.
Yeah, they went all out to re-sign Griffin. Were they supposed to let him walk away for nothing? And really, that’s where your entire premise falls apart. Griffin was considering going elsewhere. How’s that for loyalty?

If the Clippers trading Griffin is so offensive to Leonard, then why is Leonard meeting with them at all?

I think there's a difference between a guy out of contract looking to sign with a different team and well, doing this

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported in October, that the Clippers had arranged a walkway for Griffin at the Staples Center, in which fake walls were decorated with photos of Griffin throughout his life. When Griffin got to the court, the Clippers held a fake ceremony in which they raised his jersey to the rafters. No Clippers player has ever had a jersey retired by the team.
Furthermore, Marc Spears of ESPN's The Undefeated reported in July that Clippers employees were wearing t-shirts on which faces of prominent historical figures were displayed. The shirt had figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, Muhammad Ali, and more — and Griffin.

Huge deal? Nah, probably not. But it's not exactly a good look.

I honestly don't know if Kawhi even cares about that whatsoever. Guy is in his own orbit. Might be happy that happened because that trade was smart and gave the team a future it otherwise wouldn't currently have.

I’m from Missouri. Show me someone who cares.

I’ll be a little less nice. He’s a waste of talent without a big brother figure like Lebron. Kyrie flourishes when he can focus on basketball and not on answering questions.

Horford to the Kings? First thought was I'd really like to see him on a contender, and then I saw their roster; I wouldn't say they're a contender, but sneaky fun team I think.

Edit: Literally got a tweet saying the Kings expect him to go elsewhere right after I hit send. So who knows

We may have something resembling an answer in 5 hours or so.

Boston offered Horford 4 years 71 million so wherever he goes he is getting probably more than that.
For Al to leave Sacramento doesn’t make sense. He would be more likely to chase a ring and take little to no money than sign with a team like Sacramento.

Tweet from the local Miami writer Tim Reynolds

“Not that this is a surprise - or means anything - but Jimmy Butler is expected to tell Miami officials tonight that he wishes to play for the Heat, per source.”

Anyone know what a sign and trade between those Philly and Miami would look like?

Think it’s likely Josh Richardson to Philly and a lot of money to a 3rd team, maybe Whiteside or maybe a combo platter of their other bad contracts, idk.

Jazz fans are getting all hot and bothered that they might be able to snag Bogdanovic.

Conley/Spida Mitchell/Ingles/Bogdanovic/Gobert is a nasty starting 5. If they can get some legit bench help on guys willing to take minimum deals for a chance to contend they'd have a puncher's chance.

This might explain why the Clippers have cooled on him in recent weeks and why they’re still in on Durant despite the injury.

Like that lineup. Maybe a little small 1-4 but Gobert is an eraser

Danny with all the future picks the Celtics have just give one up for this. The cap space is worth it.

Give them the Bucks first round pick you got from Phoenix and everyone wins.

Quicker means Golden State IMO.
Steph flying into NYC.
Only other spot now is Brooklyn with Kyrie.

That's my initial thought; if he's announcing tonight, more likely than not he's sticking around.

Nets would get hard capped at the apron, maybe they need more than a Bucks first to get this done?
