NBA playoffs: greatest show on Earth

I won’t. We’ve already seen their peaks.(I assume)

Lebron is having the best statistical season of his career right now. I know conventional wisdom says he should be slowing down, but I see no signs of it at all. I think it’s totally possible his peak could a smidgen higher.

If Boston wins this series James Dolan needs to offer Stevens 25 million. He’s worth more than any player besides Lebron.

No kidding. Absolutely decimated by injuries and now Smart is gimpy

if we made a game, and the idea was to say who in sports is the least like their name. like who they are compared to their name. i'd go all in on marcus smart. who has something better?

apparently tatum isn't sure how to play basketball anymore so he is just running into people full speed on every possession. I hate the Celtics and most of all brad stevens. and butler.

I guess the refs got the memo that this boston/philly series has to matter

Marcus Smart is the pro most like Devo. You hate him if he plays for anyone but your team. And I love him.

PG/combos. This Oladipo (obviously he was already talented), Donovan Mitchell, and Rozier have leapfrogged a lot of players in terms of legitimacy and staying power in the league. Fun watching these guys.

As good as the Sixers are they got nothing from the 2015 draft they gave away Okafor nothing and got to wonder about Jayson Tatum who torched them. Markelle Fultz didn’t get off the bench. They gave up a lottery pick for Fultz.

If Hayward and Irving were healthy I’d pick the Celtics to win it all.

Next year could be really special after all these guys are getting chances to step up and take over games that they might not have gotten with Hayward and Irving healthy. Hayward was a fluke injury so not worried about him, but Irving's injury history worries me. He's only played over 70 games 3 times in his career.

Kyrie should be fine. This injury was that wires in his knee from his injury in 2015 had to come out. That was planned and known.
The problem the surgery should have been done earlier this year if they thought it had to happen before the offseason.
Kyrie was planning on the surgery in the offseason but couldn’t get there.

The injury wasn’t s new injury.
He will be healthy for next year.

Fultz just came back, kinda tough to work him into these games now when he is a rookie that basically missed the whole season.

I think he’ll be a player. The talent was obvious in the few games he has played at the end of the year.

The Sixers better hope Fultz turns into something. Tatum and another lottery pick sets Boston up to get even more young talent.

Fultz is a good player. They’re preparing for the future by allowing him ample time to recover. I would not write him off as a bust or mistake yet.

Pretty much every advanced measure disagrees with that. He's still great, but was better from 2007-2013. It isn't close really. He had 20 win shares in 07-08 and 12-13. This year he had 14.

He will likely be a good player but they gave up a lottery pick for him.

Another factor is his defense, he's not the defensive player he once was.

His net rating this year is "only" +2.4, so the Cavs were 2.4 per 100 possessions better when he played than when he sat. The last few years, it was around 16 or 17. I think you can chalk some of that up to his defense, the Cavs were nearly 6 per 100 when he sat this year.
