NBA playoffs: greatest show on Earth

Another factor is his defense, he's not the defensive player he once was.

His net rating this year is "only" +2.4, so the Cavs were 2.4 per 100 possessions better when he played than when he sat. The last few years, it was around 16 or 17. I think you can chalk some of that up to his defense, the Cavs were nearly 6 per 100 when he sat this year.

Yeah, that’s a goood point re: his defense. Offensively he is as good as he ever was currently, IMO. I don’t care what anybody says. His numbers are amazing and he’s on a team that’s worse than the team he took to the Finals with Ilgauskas, Varejao, Drew Gooden, Boobie Gibson, Larry Hughes, etc.

Not a lot of Rozier talk? He’s a freaking beast. GREAT with the ball, driving, shooting, passing, nice athlete, good size. I REALLY liked him at Louisville. Didn’t think he’d be THIS good but wow. He and Donovan Mitchell are killing it.

Scary Terry is having a great finish to the season.

Love the way the Celts are put together right now. Need Morris to be more consistent with his shooting and we could have something brewing. I think Smart's thumb will keep his shooting streaky for the rest of the year.

The Bledsoe jersey ruled

Not much talk about the Raptors. Up 12 in the first half. They really have to take advantage of this year. They are good enough to compete next year, but I can never see a set of circumstances moving forward where they are the betting favourite to win the conference like they currently are right now.

As discussed, Boston is as vulnerable as it could get, and Stevens is somehow minimizing that. The Sixers are only going to get better. And Cleveland is as weak as it has been since Lebron came over.

This is exactly why I hated all the "Cavs are a sure thing" talk from earlier in the year.

You've got to be ready to compete and let things play out. I'm glad Toronto didn't punt on their squad. The window is open.

Raps gonna Raps. Kyle Lowry taking his best shot at blowing it.

Love out there traveling and throwing elbows, looking like a complete spazz.

Crap. How many taps could they miss. We are blowing this one.

Felt like Derozan didn’t need to go for the tip in there. But yeah, that’s gotta be frustrating. Not to mention, the 3 point attempt was wide open.

Great job by Cavs bench. Way to steal one after just completing a Game 7 the other day. Yet another triple-double for James...sick.

Can KD please just go away. Give me a Curry led Warriors team all day. So much fun to watch.

Most Toronto thing ever. Series still goes at least 6 games. No idea what the plan was with Fred VanVleet taking two possible game winning threes. Yeah, they were open, but the guy was sitting on the bench right before each of the shots. Strange decision-making. Thought Casey also left Lowry and Derozan out too long in the 4th. Honestly just tough luck missing all those tips inside. Defense on Korver and Smith was bad. Stop doubling LeBron 28 feet from the basket.

Raptors really needed to win that one. Gotta sting badly for them. But like I said... so predictable.

Who does everybody have on their "All NBA underrated team"

Mine includes:

Rozier
Gary Harris
Middleton
Julius Randle
Jrue Holiday

6th man- Sabonis

Obviously depends on how you define underrated. I like your list. (Holiday especially.) I would nominate Horford.

I’m sick of seeing Drake in the middle of things. Such a wannabe. Hope he gets banned from the arena like any other fan would under the same circumstances.
He is so annoying with his routine.
If he tried fighting Kenderick Perkins he is knocked out in a minute.
He is such a poser and does I am prince of Toronto routine like he is Will Smith from Fresh Prince.

Wasn’t he in the Heat’s locker room after they won it all? He’s butting into players trash talking convos, cursing at Perkins in the locker room area. He couldn’t possibly come off as a bigger jock sniffer. He really thinks he’s a part of it all.

Horford has made all star games, which is why I don't include him. Obviously everyone would have their own criteria.

Totally fair, all about how you define it. The best players not to have appeared in an all star game, that's a good list. Let me think on that
