Bucks should fire Budenhozier.I tend to think Holiday is overrated but am hoping Budenholzer and the Bucks supporting cast can help elevate him more, but to answer the question, neither Holiday or Davis are all that special in terms of creating shots and the rest of their team was basically made up of guys that shouldn't be playing in the NBA.
I'd also say it's unfair to say they didn't do jack squat. It was hell trying to get into the playoffs in the West and the one time Davis and Holiday were both healthy they went 48-34 with their 3rd best player being a half season of Cousins and a half season of Nikola Mirotic. And after that their best player was Etwaun Moore, who is a league minimum caliber player.

He really showed he was dumb in the bubble playoffs.
Does Giannis like him?
Where have you seen that?
On TMZ, reported by Ric Bucher on his podcast. Why Westbrook and possibly Morey wanted out too
For his sake I hope it's back in Portland. He was a great fit for that team.Wonder where Melo ends up

That could complicate things a bit. I'd still think he's going to get pt. He seemed to love it there. Is he with Covington there? Seems like his spot was taken
James Harden would lose 12.5 million dollars from his salary in taxes a year going from Houston to Brooklyn.

He would be playing more games in states with higher income tax laws. That seems off -- is it possible it is 12.5% of his salary?
I saw the maximum NY state tax rate is 8.82% and NY City is 3.88%.
On a $40 million salary, it is still an extra $5.0 million or so, so it is not insignificant either.

He would be going from 45 games in TX.
To 3 games in TX.
MA-1 extra game
PA-1 extra game
DC- 1 extra game.
The Eastern conference states have higher taxes than the non-CA western teams.
Posted on the Raptors board, where some people are freaking out and want to clear all the salary rebuild through the draft or create a Free Agency Super Team.
One person posted "Can't we just enjoy watching a good team play winning basketball, instead of hoping that they'll get rid of everybody every week?" It's an important message for many fans.
Being in the 50 win area is not a disaster. It means some years you are not a true contender, but then you are not in the mediocre treadmill territory either especially if you have some younger pieces... you are one good re-tool trade, one or two good late picks, a bit of luck away from the conference finals / finals. You set up yourself to go for it later.
People that demand a full rebuild don't realize that teams are often stuck there seemingly forever. The desire to tank in Toronto was no greater amongst fans than in 2014... for Andrew Wiggins. Tanking is not always the solution -- sometimes it makes sense but often it backfires or gets team back to 50 win and nothing more.
Boston wants draft picks for Kemba to make a play for Harden which will never happen.KOC saying the Bulls have reached out to Boston about trading for Kemba
How much do you think players make after taxes?Right but 12.5 million is around 30% of his salary, no single state has an income tax that high, let alone an increase of 30%
It’s not 12.5 million I was wrong Harden would lose 13.6 million if he went to Brooklyn.Right but 12.5 million is around 30% of his salary, no single state has an income tax that high, let alone an increase of 30%
I would tend to roll my eyes at this report. In all likelihood, it's more just the fact that players realize the team needs to spend more money to be a true contender and the owner wants to significantly cut back on costs and therefore they feel like they're wasting their time.Hasn't this guy owned the Rockets for a few years now though? It can't be new information that he's a Trump guy.

The no income tax states are huge because of the potential loss to taxes.

James Harden wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets. If it happens, he'd be giving up millions by paying higher taxes and other costs.www.sportico.com
