NBC Sports, Versant Bring Back Old Media Brands

Two sports media brands used for many years by NBC Sports are making comebacks, but in a dramatically changing corporate structure.

Their app (on one of my FireTV sticks) shows next week's game vs ND ("French no Irish") on their schedule.

Possibly because the NBC telecast will also be on Peacock. And NBCSN will simulcast Peacock.

BTW, for those with YTTV, I noticed the game will also be in 4K for those who have it.

As of today, the NBC SN is now on YTTV. In addition to live events shown on Peacock (like NBA & Premier League games), daily programming includes The Dan Patrick Show (9am), The Dan Le Bayard Show With Stugotz (12pm), and PFT Live. On my default channel guide it is with the other sports channels near the end after FS1, FS2, and NBC Sports 4K.

On my default channel guide it is with the other sports channels near the end after FS1, FS2, and NBC Sports 4K.

PFT Live is live at 7am. I think repeated at 3pm and 4am. At the top of the show this morning Mike Florio welcoming the YTTV audience live on the returning NBCSN. I'd rather watch the sports talk show lineup on NBCSN than what's on ESPN. Dan Patrick is one of the best. Mike Florio is a good listen also on the NFL. NBCSN could be a cherry on top reason to have YTTV. It will eventually be on Comcast/Xfinity also, but so far I haven't seen it is going to be on other carriers like Spectrum, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV. Hulu + Live TV is an interesting situation because putting NBCSN on their lineup could cut into the ratings of their brother ESPN family of networks.

I don't know if it will be ALL because I assume Peacock shows more than one event simultaneously (Premier League?) and so far I don't see multiple channels, but I think it will all the major live events like the NBA and ND & B1G football. [And not a stupid question.]

Edit: I just went into the desktop version of YTTV to move NBCSN onto my Custom list of channels and I noticed there are 3 potential overflow channels listed for NBCSN (NBC Sports HD 1, 2 & 3 near the bottom of the list), so maybe YTTV will show simultaneous Peacock live sports events on separate channels.
