NC State Gameday...

We just seem to be very passive on offense despite the yardage. We’re not putting pressure on using the entire field. Everything seems to be 7-8 yard passes. You leave yourself having to constantly convert third down. It’s not easy to do.

It's hard to finish drives when the field gets small and you have no running game.

You'd think all these passes would set up your running game but our guys mostly fight to get pas the line of scrimmage.
The lack of running game this week is alarming.

On the defense: of course giving up 7 in a half on the road isn't bad. What concerns me are the tendencies of the DBs getting beat deep, coupled with lack of pressure, that against a good team, surely results in 21+ points and we're having a very different conversation.

Everyone keeps saying what the score should be but discounts the FG that NC State missed. If we should have made ours, they should have made theirs. All that said, we need TD's. We're dominating for the most part ut haven't been in the end zone nearly enough.

I like Fran a lot and I think he'll be a successful coach, but his sideline demeanor is starting to bother me.
My take on this is think of all the successful teams in sports. The coach always has an edge to their demeanor on the sideline.

The lack of elite speed at RB is a killer. SU had 3 or 4 runs that a guy slightly quicker has a huge gain or 6 in the 1st half

Rushing 27-46 Passing 231-131 Total: 258-177 FD: 14-9

McCord: 18/28 231yds 1TD

Allen 9c 33 yds.

Pena 7C 72 yards, Gadsden 5c 64yds.
And we are ahead, in NC State. 3-13 against them.
Should we have got a holding call before that whole fg penalty bs, yeah, a few more points, yeah, thats college football.

We need to do something in the secondary. They can't cover.

The short. control passing game is part of Fran's strategy of ball control. Don't be surprised if he opens up the offense in the second half. Doeren will adjust at the half, Fran will dos so, too.

What's bad is that our special teams miscues have made Fran hesitant to kick OR punt.

Unbelievable.

A 5-man OL is giving up sacks to a 3-man rush. Maybe the RB isn’t the problem.

Ew. Our coach is passionate. Gross.

Jk I love seeing him fired up.
3rd and 6? Yeah, send it up the middle.
