I don't know if I've ever been as confident that we would handily lose a game as I was watching tonight from the tip... it's disturbing. I agree with with most every point mentioned tonight. Confession: I was hyped after the first 3 games this season too & thought we had something real, I'm guilty of that for sure.

I saw a month back or so, maybe JeremyCuse posted it, but it was that Syracuse was close to firing Autry last season. What a mistake, it's killing me that decision wasn't made. I mentioned it last season & I'll say it again today: What phase in the game is Autry good at coaching?! Not even excelling in, simply good or above average? Offense? Clearly not. Defense? No. Inbounds/dead ball situations, including free throws? Nope. What about intangibles - grit, BBall IQ, hustle, togtherness/team, etc.? NOTHING.

I'll continue to watch every game because I love the Orange & would watch if we had 0 wins... but I can't wait for this to be over. LET'S GET STARTED WITH SOMETHING FRESH & NEW.

I was there for tonight’s game sitting with five other SU fans. It was an embarrassment. Not because they got beat. But this is the first time I have ever seen a team QUIT. And that’s disturbing. They just stopped playing defense toward the end of the game, and the offense looked like a playground game.

I have seen better zone defense at grammar school games. Rebounding skills, floor positioning and offensive play calling were non-existent.

How can anyone defend this coach? He was the first one to walk into the tunnel - with his head down -no one around him. He couldn’t get off that floor any quicker than he did.

When the players stop playing for the coach - the coach is done.

Red -you’re done. There is not recovery from this.

This is the first time you’ve seen a team quit? They quit last game lol

Brad Brownell said it after the Clemson game. Our program is living in the past, and it has been for a decade. I saw a recruiting report when JB was still coach and a high school coach said our assistants thought the Syracuse name had a lot more cache than it really does anymore. That arrogance has disserved us greatly.

And what was Autry’s response to Brownell? Something stupid like you can’t take away our past. Actually, you can. They’ve killed the golden goose and it’s going to take some work to get it back.
