There seems to be a narrative out there that Manek's DQ was unfair. What Manek did was a textbook definition of a flagrant 2 foul in college hoops. He earned it.
Are you saying that Manek shouldn't have been ejected? I thought that was obvious.
I didn't think the DQ was unfair. That was a dumb jock move. I thought the refs got caught up in the comeback momentum and let Baylor get away with muggings. There seems to be a narrative out there that Manek's DQ was unfair. I didn't say anything about the reffing after the ejection. There was a reason for that. I turned the game off and turned it back on later and was shocked at the score. I was also rooting for Carolina. Something about Baylor I just don't like.He should have been ejected based on the rule, absolutely.
The foul calls after he left over the final 10 minutes was 14 UNC to 5 Baylor. But it was the non-calls that allowed Baylor to back in the game
Baylor was playing a helter skelter press and bludgeoning anyone with the ball and there were no calls. You can’t run into somebody knocking him out of bounds for a turnover and not have it be a foul, but that’s what was happening. The blatantly physical play and no calls was the reason for the implosion (and during the same span there were some ticky tacts called against Carolina that didn’t make sense considering Baylor’s physical play.)
People who can’t see this or won’t admit it just have an ax to grind because they don’t like Carolina.
No matter they won and they deserved to. Lfg ACC
Best game I’ve seen in a long time
All Providence does is win. KenPom be damned.
