NCAA 2nd Round Games for March 20

Subtle grab on the pass, clear push off by Moore but Mich St called for it.

I know - that was an odd call. The first touch was a bit of a lean in by Moore to initiate contact, which might be 50/50, but then he just clears him out. Odd.

Coach K gets his 1200 wins. Boehelm needs to keep coaching until age of 95 to break that record.

Coach K now has 99 coaching wins in the NCAA tournament. That would be a nice number to end his career at.

While I don't mind the ACC doing well (Except for Duke), I think its crucial that Texas Tech beats Notre Dame tonight. I think they have a much better shot of frustrating Duke than Notre Dame.

Texas Tech, basically a team full of transfers too.

Hauser taking that ill-advised inside shot and getting stuffed by Banchero was the turning point. MSU had lead and momentum. That selfish shot, the block and Duke's basket at the other end tiurned it around. Terrible decision by Hauser to think he could get a shot off when Banchero had him smothered.
Yup he had been abused by Banchero the last 3 minutes and wanted revenge - emotion not brains there.

I don't get the constant anti-Duke, anti-Coach K animosity here. He has been a true friend of JB, honoring him as his top assistant on three US Olympic teams and always supporting him during such things as the Bernie Fine fiasco and the NCAA's outrageous action in 2015. We need the ACC to do well in the tournament ... not just for the prestige, but also for the very significant money we earn from each win by a conference member.

It's not logic. For years the guy has had the best recruiting class in the country and media hypes him as a genius.

MSU was a better team than he'll see in the Sweet 16.
Not with Izzo coaching them. The guy flames out too much. Think duke would have had more problems with Davidson than MSU.

There's a lot of people on this board who consistently root against the ACC. I don't get it either.

Part of it is their ridiculous "Uh oh, Duke is losing. The officials can expect a call from the league office." rants. For some, it's kind of a joke. For others, I'm not so sure. :)

I think it has to do with the several reports of “recruiting violations” from K and the dukies. They are widespread.

Who's Texas Tech's best big guy? Guaranteed that dude gets 2 fouls before the under 16:00 media timeout.

Because he's pure evil.

Honestly, if Purdue can't get to the Final Four this year with both the 1 and 2 seeds bounced from their bracket, I don't know when it will ever happen for them. It will never be easier.
