Respectfully, I have to disagree. Btw it's more than just the coach. Just because he is good friends with JB that is nowhere near enough to offset the many reasons to dislike him and his program. He is one of the poorest losers out there. Quick with the blow by handshake after a loss yet mr magnanimous after a win. At least be consistent like JB, he does the blow by win or lose.I don't get the constant anti-Duke, anti-Coach K animosity here. He has been a true friend of JB, honoring him as his top assistant on three US Olympic teams and always supporting him during such things as the Bernie Fine fiasco and the NCAA's outrageous action in 2015. We need the ACC to do well in the tournament ... not just for the prestige, but also for the very significant money we earn from each win by a conference member.
i've hated K long before we ever joined the ACC. you think moving into conference changes anything ?I don't get the constant anti-Duke, anti-Coach K animosity here. Don't you have a "The fix is in" post to make?Because he's pure evil.
They'll find a way to choke.Honestly, if Purdue can't get to the Final Four this year with both the 1 and 2 seeds bounced from their bracket, I don't know when it will ever happen for them. It will never be easier.

Years of watching Laettner, Wojo, Grayson Allen, Bobby Hurley, to name just a few, it is easy to root against Dook. Is there any fan base easier to dislike than Dook fans?
I remember you had the same view as to why SU fans should root for UConn in the NCAAT back when we were both in the BE. It's really hard to turn around and root for bitter rivals just because they're in your conference. And their success just makes them stronger, does nothing for SU. I've never bought that conference money argument. We get plenty of action from just being in the ACC. An extra few dollars coming our way from conference success isn't going to move the needle for our program. We have the largest on campus facility in the country. Put a better product out there and that will more than bring in enough money so that we're not reliant on conference success in the NCAAT.
They’re dropping like flies.Big 10 sucks. That is all.
Izzo chokes in March.
It's not logic. For years the guy has had the best recruiting class in the country and media hypes him as a genius.
That’s what they say. But guy has been to 1 FF in like 12 years and multiple early flameouts these past few years.Wasn't he once the guy who wins games in March because of tough early schedules?
He's a disingenuous whiner. Gracious in victory, but an absolute a$$wipe in defeat.I don't get the constant anti-Duke, anti-Coach K animosity here. Weren’t they like 2-22 last year? And lost every conference game?
You (not you personally, but all the Duke haters here) have no idea regarding the financial realities of big-time college sports. The major reason why schools switch conferences is because of the money. Syracuse seriously depends on the ACC's NCAA basketball shares to help support its athletic program. All you guys who want to hire big time basketball coaches and big time football coaches, you ignore how much such coaches cost. And then you deprecate a major potential source of funding. I don't get it. Every tourney win by an ACC member helps us.Respectfully, I have to disagree. Btw it's more than just the coach. Wong from Miami just posterized Jabari Smith.
