Actually rooting for Duke today. Lesser of two evils. It’s like the Duke run through the Big East legends between GMAC, Jamie Dixon, Rick Pitino, and Dan Hurley. Continues to raise GMAC HC profile. A big question I thought of, does Maliq Brown stay with Syracuse if GMAC was head coach from day 1?

I am likely not remembering this correctly, but there was some stat that from the Sweet 16 on, UConn has won 17 straight games.
As much as it pains, they are probably the best program ever. Then add in the women. All in Storrs, which makes it even more impressive.

Just turned the game on, but those last 2 Michigan offensive possessions were beautiful. Guys making the extra pass for wide open shots.

Also, thinking about a guy like Cadeau and how he looks at Michigan versus UNC. Sure he might have improved in the off season individually, but I have to think the difference in how he’s been coached is the biggest difference. If George stays, I’m hoping Gerry can coach him up.

I’ve been saying for a few months that George will be better with the right coach whether that is Gerry or someone else. UNC wanted everyone to believe that Cadeau was the problem.

Officials made a terrible call on Aday Mara blocking Okpara cleanly on a dunk. Dusty May was very mad that he picked up his second on a bad call. Score was 16-14 Tennessee.
Officials made 383 straight calls against Tennessee as atonement. Tennessee could not longer defend with every big man on the bench except Estrella.
Game over. Fun game to watch.

Hopefully UConn vs Duke is better, except it can't be because someone has to win that one.
