NCAA Sweet Sixteen Games for March 24

I like Houston to beat Villanova and Duke w/refs to beat Arkansas.

I mean AZ didn’t play well but that’s bull yo give Houston a home game like that

My sheet was a scintillating 0 for 4 tonight. 31-21 on the tournament. If Kansas goes down the tournament will have been decapitated. Robespierre would love it.

Houston didn't play a particularly tough schedule... it was actually a pretty barren conference schedule... and lost their only 4 Q1 games before the AAC final. The 4 seed was appropriate even though Efficiency Systems though they were much better

But unlike other mid schools who have struggled with the "schedule jump" in the NCAA tourney, Houston has thrived in the tournament the last 3 years. Have to think the ability to succeed has a lot to do with their playing style.

Wow they’re really pushing this narrative of Duke underdogs

Rex Chapman is soooooo slow in his delivery … I feel like he’s teaching Sunday school

I have to say I’m pulling for Duke. Coach K is the story of the tournament. His team is getting better and better, especially during crunch time. Roach has been clutch.
I gotta admit I rooted for Duke too. I usually don’t and I hate their fans. But I want schools in our conference to do well, I don’t hate Duke or K as much as other people do, and I will never root for a P5 school in Texas and most of the south. Also I kind of loathe all these Johnny Come Lately programs like Texas Tech and Alabama, especially when we’ve been going in the opposite direction the past few years. At least Arkansas has a rich basketball history. I always loved those Nolan Richardson 40 minutes of hell teams (though Cuse shoulda beat them in 95!).

Arkansas will go to the final four. Imo they’re our Dion Waiters team that lost to OSU

Intensity travels. Whoa! I just made that up but I think it’s true and I’m kinda excited I created the phrase.

I don't think they beat Nova. Nova excels at small ball and getting to loose balls. Also, they have a team full of guys who attack off the bounce but also share it well. It's probably the worst matchup for Houston they could have got given their playing style and system alone isn't going to be an advantage.
