According to my friend at ESPN, this is all being driven by, you guessed it, the SEC and B1G commissioners. They get what they want. I guess ruining college football isn’t enough for them.

We all need to root for Arizona and UConn tomorrow.

So this year that would have meant Auburn, Oklahoma, Tulsa, New Mexico, Wake, Cal, Nevada and Dayton ( just looked top 8 NIT seeds) would have been in. Oddly enough actually a decent group of teams which means the last 8 next year will be an embarrassment of who gets in. Hopefully they look more at conference reg season winners vs just treating it as 8 more at larges…. Which I know better than to believe.
