ND Postgame

-Kingz is finally playing with confidence. He’s been our best on ball defender all year and now he is looking to score. I wish we got him more looks all season long.
-the Donnie thing is mystifying, but a propos for this program unfortunately. His shot selection was bad in the first half and he seemed to recognize that in the second half to his credit.
-we’ve never seen JJ play like he did in the first half offensively. He reverted to the mean in the second half.
-10 assists and no turnovers is beautiful by George. I wish he took care of the ball like that all season long. It was nice not to see him force bad shots.
-Kiyan was awful and deservedly sat in the second half. A lot of sulking on the bench and was not supportive of his teammates, unlike the rest of the guys. That needs to change.
-happy for the staff and the kids to get a nice win. Especially on Lawrence Moten day. JB’s words were touching and well done.

I think the biggest takeaway from this from a Syracuse perspective isn't the Freeman thing, but it is the Kiyan thing. Red didn't play him at all in the second half. That is way bigger news that would actually help this team going forward. Sitting Freeman against good teams will not work, but sitting Anthony if he isn't playing well will help the team.

Pretty sure this is the first time Kiyan has not seen action in the second half. I'll give Red some credit for that. See I can be objective.
Yea for real. Why he thinks NBA 3's are a good idea when he can't make his free throws is insanity.

I worry about people wanting him back next year with the new coach. A guy like Sadiq can be turned into even more of a beast. Kiyan not so sure, he may be a 4 year college mercenary and play 4 diff schools honestly.
