Nebraska '84 - LSU '15

I said the line wasn't 28. Not that you couldn't get 28 someplace. You know the difference between what the line us and what an individual can get at a local book or someplace else. And I don't remember what poker post you are referring too. I always enjoy reading your poker exploits and am admittedly jealous that I never seem to be able to win a tournament with the exception of a cruise ship one that qualified me for their national tournament.
Fair enough. Good for you on the cruise. Did you play in the National tournament. I also like poker stories. Here is a poker tip. I am playing in a tournament and I am really low stacked. I have 1300 and the blinds are now 400 800. I am the big blind and get 3 callers. Most would push all in. But I have 2 7 off suit and if I do, all 3 will call. I simply check the big blind. the flop is ace ace queen. I go all in. All 3 fold without even asking how much I am betting. I pick up about 3000 more in chips. I doubled up on the next hand. Story doesn't have a happy ending but at least I stuck around for a while longer.

Yes I did. Throughout the year they had tournaments on individual cruises. Each winner got a free cruise for 2 along with a seat in their grand finals tournament. The free cruise was on the ship conducting the finals. About 90 something entrants. I finished 21st. After a break, I was short stack and in 21st. First hand after break I get pocket jacks and went all in. Someone after me had pocket aces. 5 minutes later I was at the bar.

LOL we have all been there. How much did the original entry fee cost?

$150. If you win, you could take cash or the cruise/entry fee. I took the cruise/entry fee. People on that finals cruise who weren't one of the winners could also buy in to the tournament. I think a seat for them was like $350.
