Wow, you dont see Syracuse poaching a JHU recruit often. We often go head to head with them but its rare either school flips a guy after hes committed. Also whens the last time we got someone from Boys Latin, huge pickup.

Great addition. Good to tap into Boys Latin. Was #1 team in nation last year...This in a roundabout way offsets the loss of Dylan Maltz. Like Maltz (if he stayed) Shewell could see a lot of action next year with seniors Staats and Rice departing. It appears Shewell did his homework...Incidentally another Boys Latin product Logan Wisnauskas (2016 attack) is already committed here, so that probably helped a lot.

This will be the next trend in high school lacrosse recruiting. No reason to stop recruiting kids if they are going to commit when they are 14. Plenty will change their minds by the time they are 17.
