I wonder how many untold stories there are. SU had a predator, the Michigan State doctor, I think there was one at UM. Lord only knows of the assaults that are swept under the rug. One thing about the zero tolerance policy, there should be teeth in convictions that keep people in jail for decades if not life.

Paterno was a complete hypocrite who was against everything his carefully cultivated public image stood for.

I don't know he lived with himself. He caused so much damage and hurt so many people, all to try and protect his reputation and the reputation of the disgusting program he created.

FYI the article has very little to do with Paterno and the football program but it highlights the track record of the team that has come to light in recent years.

The case had everything to do with Penn State and Joe Paterno. Paterno was a scumbag who was more concerned with his image than the safety of young women on the Penn State campus. For him to call the victim was inexcusable. I know women who have been assaulted and it affects them the rest of their lives. The Judge who let him stay out on bail should rot in hell too.

Irv Pankey is the only Penn Stater who deserves praise.

Very intriguing read. I can't believe someone married that monster. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned that Son of Sam was not that long before this. It was a real crazy time but plenty of people were still hitchhiking all over and people still generally "trusted" complete strangers. These ESPN reporters did a nice job putting this story together. Hopefully it gains traction on how much of a creep Paterno was.

PSU’s current head coach also called a victim of alleged abuse from some of his Vandy football players. I guess they knew what they were looking for in a head coach when they chose Franklin.
