New rosters up

I don't know if these numbers are right but WoW
They are saying Dajaun is 6'9 and weighs 288

By comparison Onuaku weighed 255 and was 6'9.
Rick Jackson was 6'9 235.
Otis Hill was 6'8 234
Jeremy Mcneil was 6'8 257
Rak is 6'9 242 more then Rick Jackson and Otis Hill.

I don't know if my numbers are right I got them from orangehoops.com
If there are right though, I don't know whether to think Dajuan is way overweight or is a absolute beast. But the guys listed above had no face up dribbling game or jumpshot. Dajuan did at the high school level atleast

I find it impossible to believe that Xmas is beefier than either Rick Jackson or Otis Hill.

Both are beefier, DC2 substantially so. Rak is 242 (heavier than either Jackson or Hill), and DC2 (a massive 288) has both former players by around 50 pounds. So much for our rep as a "finesse" team. Check out Rak's pipes (lower left):

Jackson was only listed at 240 his senior year. http://www.suathletics.com/documents/2011/4/11/FINAL.pdf

Hill was listed at 6'8 234 http://www.orangehoops.org/OHill.htm

Gbinije listed at 6-7 200. Hmmm...if that's true, he might have the size to play 3 in our system.

Rak sure looks taller than DC2 in those pictures. And it's not just the Rakhawk.

Take alook at the bottom Pick Rak looks taller then Keita, while in the top Keita looks taller then Rak. Maybe its something like Dajuan is almost pushing 6'9 and Rak is almost pushing 6'10 who knows?

Its too hard to tell by the pictures, but they def seem to tell a different story on the actual measurements. Colemans 6'9 height seemed to be a bit of a stretch, but then after watching the allstar games (McDs) he def seemed to be one of the biggest guys on the court. Ive stood next to him before and couldnt believe how huge he is overall.

Coleman is a beast. When I saw him at the Melo Center in June he had lost that baby fat from the McD game and had clearly been working out (which I know he was doing at the East Area Y) and running. He had trimmed out the fat and put on the muscle. He's just a big friggin dude. He will eat guys up in the paint. I just hope he can run the floor better than Fab did as a frosh. ;)

My favorite thing about DC2 is that he knows how to USE that beastliness. He throws that weight around like Jared Sutherland did. I still consider him under rated.

This is a big team. I am freaking pumped.

I hope they have a plan to replace Murphy's presence on the recruiting trail. GMAC isn't going to cut it there.

Rak reminds of Otis Thorpe is that pic. Keep in mind that one of the reasons he came here was his friendship with Cooney. Maybe he followed TC's workout during the off-season. :)

Wow. We only have 9 eligible scholarship guys this season. 5 walkons, and one guy that has to sit out. I'm a bit worried if anyone gets injured.

Five starters and 4 players off the bench who could start on most D-1 teams and you are worried?

Smaller than many of our recent teams. Get a guy injured and a guy suspended, or get three guys come down with the flu or a bad cold, and the team's going to have a bad night.

Not a terrible thing, but it's nicer to have 11 contributors than 9. A little more buffer.
