NFL Thread - 2018

This is up there with the tuck rule. Will be talked about for a long time. Legacy changing game.

No, not that I recall. I remember chiefs doing it for as long as Florida St. no?
I really don’t watch many Chiefs game so I don’t know when they started doing it. Figured you watch them more a division thing.
I just know Florida State has done it for a long time.

How close is Arrowhead from Kansas?

20 miles from my apartment in Overland Park which is pretty much on the state line.

So KC is pretty much a Kansas/Missouri border city.
I didn’t realize it was that close to Kansas.

KC should have taken the ball. Score early. Surprised they deferred. Give the ball to your strength right from the start.
NE was going to take the ball if they won the toss. KC deferred so they were happy.

If I was a Pats fan I’d get a Develin Jersey for sure.

Old school player.

Yes there actually is a Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. It's not really one city in two states, it's two cities in two states that have the name Kansas City and another 50 or so suburbs and towns in both states.

The KS side has the speedway, Sporting KC and the Missouri side has Arrowhead and Royals Stadium.

Don't ask Kansas hoops fans though, they'll tell you it's not a home game for them when they play in downtown Kansas City at the Sprint Center. I was like man we're practically down the street from Phog. We won anyways, haha.

Patriots going with the 01 Rams game plan and like Mike Martz you know Andy Reid won’t run the ball.

We said offensive holding, sir
Refs could call holding every play on the OL if they truly wanted to. The Ol grab every play.
The Patriots get called for penalties when they commit them they are well coached.

And yes if they actually tackle an All-Pro in the secondary it might have to be called.

Patriots media were saying think SB 25 this week. Control the clock on offense and force the Chiefs to run the ball on offense. Shorten the possessions in the game.

Exactly it’s all subjective and the Pats are the refs most beloved subject.

I am a Giants fan but that is just a silly take. The refs don't help the Pats. The pats are well coached and know how to play. Everything else is just sour grapes.
