They aren’t going to trade Brady inside the AFC and Brady wouldn’t ask for it.
Thus if Belichick and Brady both wanted to move on it would be an NFC team.
A dark horse could be Detroit if they moved Stafford but I don’t see that happening as Brady went to Michigan.
Brady has one year left on his deal so the Patriots could eat one year of dead money and Brady’s base salary is the minimum thus he could be traded easily.
The problem is does Brady and Belichick want a split. Belichick is going to cut Gronk/Hightower/Allen this offseason and open up 30 million dollars in cap space. Does Brady throw a fit and would he want a split is why Curran is saying he could move on.
Dallas has a QB who isn’t a top half of the league QB and is on a rookie deal so they don’t have much money invested in the position. That and they have a competitive team is why he would be the best current fit.
I would prefer the team keep Brady cut those 3 guys and just invest in putting players around Brady but nobody knows if both Brady/Belichick want that.
Jerry Jones farts in the general direction of proper salary cap management.
Dak will get a 5-7 year $100M plus extension.
