Saints are going to keep Bridgewater as the QB of the future if they can.

Dolphins are moving on from tannehill.

Looking at potential replacements...

Rooms spinning

Cant breathe

I'll be curious to see if they just bring in someone on a one-year deal like Flacco or Fitzpatrick or something and wait until next year to draft a QB or if they simply like someone in this year's draft enough to commit to them. Drew Lock is the top QB in this draft IMO but he'd probably be at best the #3 QB in next year's draft based on my grades and probably more like the #7 or 8 QB based on how others view Lock.

The dolphins had the chance to position themselves favorably for the 2018 draft pool or set themselves up better for 2020. Instead we’ve put ourselves, and our young talent on hold for the 2019 season. Its frustrating.

Jameis Winston-trade
Derek Carr-trade
Teddy Bridgewater-FA
Nick Foles-FA
Nick Mullens-trade
Joe Flacco-FA

There will be a ton of veteran options. I wouldn't invest a top 10 pick in any of these QBs. I personally like McSorley from Penn State the most as he won't get a high grade but I think he could be a stud pro.
Dolphins are smart to move on from Tannehill he isn't a franchise guy. He is good enough to go 9-7 with a good core around him but he isn't going to be the franchise guy.

Im just worried the Saints wont let TB go. He’s the clear favorite for Miami

New Orleans is going to need TB to take a bridge contract. As they can't pay him a lot of money to be a backup while they try to win with Brees and are going to need cap space for Thomas/Kamara in 2 years.
I am sure TB likes NO but they will need no other suitor to want to pay Teddy B a 3-4 year deal at 15-18 million per year.
NO was smart to trade a 3rd for Teddy B as if he leaves in FA they will just get that 3rd round pick back as a compensatory pick in the draft.
So Payton didn't want to throw away this season if Brees got hurt and they needed a good backup. It was smart for them to buy insurance if they can't resign Teddy B.

So Kaiser get ready to face Tom Brady 2 times next year. New England media speculating Tom Brady could get traded to Dallas this offseason. LOL. It is hilarious how bad NE media covers sports for its fanbases.

Wow, that’s a good one. Trolling at its best.

Who’s throwing that out there??

There’s a chance I’m going to NE for the final Eli v Tommy game, just depends on how the schedule shakes out.

Sept & Oct, probably not. Nov & early Dec...it’s quite possible.

Tom E Curran is saying Brady may ask to move on and Belichick will want it as well to completely turn over the roster.
I’ll hook you up with 2 tickets on me as long as you behave.
My grandfather is a season ticket holder.

Interesting, but won’t happen.

I think for Kraft Tommy > Bill

My misbehaving day’s are all behind me.

I’d be there with my 8 year old son. (I will have my ‘86 Simms throwback on, the boy in an Eli)

Hence the need for the late scheduling. His Pop Warner league plays on Sundays.

It’s going to throw my whole Giants attendance for a loop too...or at least a few 5 hour tailgates are being cut down greatly.

Actually, scratch the Simms jersey, if I make it, would have to rock an Eli.

Gillette is a wine and cheese crowd outside of playoff games. If your with a kid I got no worries.
When the schedule comes out PM if you want them.
You won’t believe this but getting someone to every game is hard in my extended family outside of playoffs they think the regular season is boring unless it’s a night game. Even if it is you want the Tix they are yours.

I can’t see Brady playing for Garrett. Dallas would have to find a legit HC.

Yeah Brady to the Giants makes more sense tbh.
Curran is tied into Brady’s camp.
He said Brady if he moves on wouldn’t play for an AFC team and the list of teams he would be interested in are 3.

Dallas- he likes the area
LA Rams- for his wife to be in LA
San Francisco- for him to play at home:

Rams are a no-go because of Goff.
San Francisco has Jimmy G they are a no go.
Thus, Dallas is the logical spot. Dallas has Dak on a rookie deal and honestly he hasn’t shown he is as good as he was a rookie when he had the best OL in football. Would you want to give him a contract 5 years 100 million, 50 million guaranteed or roll with Brady two years and find a young QB in that time.

I am not sold on Dak but it’s Jerry.
I am not sure Belichick will move on Brady but Curran gets info from Guerrero and Tom Brady Sr. so he knows.

What about the other LA team and board favorite Rivers team? He could go there.

Although I think he’s got 1 year left on the contract.

They aren’t going to trade Brady inside the AFC and Brady wouldn’t ask for it.
Thus if Belichick and Brady both wanted to move on it would be an NFC team.
A dark horse could be Detroit if they moved Stafford but I don’t see that happening as Brady went to Michigan.
Brady has one year left on his deal so the Patriots could eat one year of dead money and Brady’s base salary is the minimum thus he could be traded easily.
The problem is does Brady and Belichick want a split. Belichick is going to cut Gronk/Hightower/Allen this offseason and open up 30 million dollars in cap space. Does Brady throw a fit and would he want a split is why Curran is saying he could move on.
Dallas has a QB who isn’t a top half of the league QB and is on a rookie deal so they don’t have much money invested in the position. That and they have a competitive team is why he would be the best current fit.

I would prefer the team keep Brady cut those 3 guys and just invest in putting players around Brady but nobody knows if both Brady/Belichick want that.

I truly don't know what to think of Dak. You are correct, his best year was a couple years ago when he had the top offensive line as a rookie. Small sample size, but Dak has looked better, but not consistently, with Amari Cooper on the team. I don't think Dak is as good as he was the year he took over for Romo, also don't think he is as bad as he looked last year and earlier this year. I still don' t know what to think of him long term after three years.

What I do know, is that I have to root for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday!

I will say this Dallas has more talent on its roster than New England does.
If you put Brady on Dallas now I could see them winning a SB but Brady would just ignore Garrett. Dallas D is good.

Or the Sunday Night game to end in a tie.
If Indy-Tennessee tie Pittsburgh would get in.
If it doesn't happen for the Steelers, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Yeah I mean honestly the Steelers have the best OL and pair of WRs and TEs in the league.
Plus Ben is at worst a top 10 QB.
It’s insane they aren’t already in the playoffs.

Steelers players need more discipline.
It’s amazing the drafting they do each year. Plus nobody really is close to FA other than Bell who gave you guys 14.5 million in free cap space for next year.

If Ben and Pitt don’t blow the doors off the bungals in the 1st half...I’ll be shocked.

Your Brady scenario and teams makes sense once it’s laid out like that. Still improbable, but interesting.

I’m expecting the Giants around Championship weekend to announce Eli is coming back. Likely with a pay cut and another year tacked on.
