NFL Thread - 2019

National media treat him like he is better than Brady and the GOAT.
He is a top 10 QB of alltime IMO but he isn’t as good as that the national media love he gets.
Neither QB tonight is worthy of praise.

Eli would be destroyed for this shlitty of a performance.

Both will get a pass.

The national media have overrated Aaron Rodgers.
The guy is a great player but he really is a diva.
This is funny

So are the whiners going to Blame this game sucking on it being Thursday too ?

The narrative will be teams not playing any starters in preseason means week 1 will suck and be the real preseason.
Guarantee it.

Wonder if Brady gets that roughing the passer call

Tribusky is what happens when teams talk themselves into an athlete with zero feel for the game at QB.

Yet u tell me hes better than Eli.

What should the narrative be then?

The Chicago Bears have a real good defense that is destroying the Packers OL.
On the other side Mitchell Tribusky sucks.

We knew all that coming into the game. Vegas still had the O/U at 46.5

The offenses are out of sync. I think there is credence to the argument that the lack of preseason reps causes issues early in the season. And it’s not a new argument.

Listen Eli is not a good QB anymore.
He has been below average for a while.
He won you 2 SBs keep being loyal.
It’s amazing how nothing is ever his fault.
He’s to blame for some, but when u walk of the field with a W after under the 2 minute warning and the bullpen (D) blows it, I fail to see why he takes the blame.

And if you watched his career, you’d see how many ridiculous and i man ridiculous drops and bad routes are run.

It’s uncanny for a top team.

It’s really been incredible to witness.

there are plenty of special teams/ defensive breakdowns in the early weeks as well...most seasons...it shouldn't just effect offenses.

Let's have a contest to see how many posts we can go on the NFL thread without mentioning ELI manning..the most irrelevant starting QB in the league. Let's just start a separate Manning thread.

Just like the super bowl, another no sweat under.

The defenses were great. People just hate low scoring games. It wasn’t much different than the Super Bowl.

C'mon now. Eli is the only QB in the NFL that has ever played behind a weak OL or had WRs that drop passes. It's never his fault.

2 time Super Bowl winner playing in the largest market, in his 15th season as starting QB for the same team.

He’s hardly irrelevant.

...until Jones takes over for him at some point.
