Cam Newton looks terrible. I never thought he was an all time great type QB but boy his play has fallen off.

Some of his throws just don’t even have a chance to be caught.

Shoulder injuries to a QB will do that.

Cam Newton needs shoulder surgery.
He can’t pass the ball accurately.

Great call Rivera. You need half a yard to basically win the game...you have a 6'5' 250 lb qb...and you line him outside and go wildcat formation and try razzle dazzle. wow. what a stupid call.

They’re clearly scared of Cam’s health. That’s a no brainer if he’s healthy.

you don't have to actually give him the ball...but you have to have him under center as a threat.

Greeny looks like he’s seeing ghosts at this point.

The Jets are facing a disaster of biblical proportions. This is incredible.

Chris Godwin is so damn good

I picked Mike Evans. And I didn’t feel great about it at the time.

Picked Brandin Cooks too.

Think I got the wrong guy for both teams.

I still think both will be very good this year. I'd expect Evans to end up being better than Godwin, but Tampa to me probably has the best WR duo in the league.

Mike Greenberg deserves it. He stabbed his partner in the back so he could be a beta on a crappy wannabe sports GMA.

Thank god they don’t play Miami. You can’t even try to lose to the Jets right now

What Miami is doing right now IMO is enough for fans of that team to be able to jump onto a new team as football isn’t a sport tanking is acceptable.
Basketball one superstar makes you relevant for a decade.
A superstar in football doesn’t guarantee you anything. What Miami is doing is embarrassing.
Players careers aren’t long and they are wasting players careers to tank and get worse to get better 3 years down the line when these players will be done.

I completely agree.

That being said. I will go down with this ship.

Thielen and Diggs

I think Evans and Godwin might be better. I'd definitely take Evans over either Thielen or Diggs and I think Godwin is right up there too.

Playing devils advocate on Evans is his catch rate per target is way below average. Now you want to say that's a function of his QB's he plays with I get that, but last year was the first year he was ever above a 55% catch rate. Thielen and Diggs are both around 70%.

It's just a way different system. Thielen and Diggs both mostly feast on underneath stuff. Tampa's offense has been mostly deep shots the entire time Evans (and Godwin obviously) have been there. Even if the QBs were equal, the throws Evans and Godwin are asked to catch will always be lower percentage plays.

Godwin hasn't really had a chance to prove himself enough for people to really consider it a debate, but he's been a stud since his rookie year that's just been waiting for more opportunity.
