I would rather not coming off a foot injury and being over 30. That's the rumor though. I wonder if the Bengals are trying to drive bidding.
The Saints weapons are kind of weak after Thomas and Kamara even if they both are unstoppable. Ginn is always hurt and Trequan Smith hasn't really improved.

im going to say no way. NFL teams overvalue their draft picks to the point of insanity. They treat them like new cars. if you draft a player in the first round, dont even use him, hes worth a second rounder the second you take em off the lot.

If they traded a first round pick I would say it’s an overpay.
I would trade a second round pick for AJ Green. The Saints don’t have a second round pick this year though.
Whomever traded for AJ Green would get a compensatory 3rd round pick the following year.
So a 2nd round pick for a half season of Green and future 3rd round pick would be a good deal for a contender trying to win a SB.

Bengals need to deal him - he vanishes in big spots and is a tier below the elites IMHO. He also never plays, and they need to tear it down. Too much invested in an underachieving D Line and not enough invested in an O-Line and LB corp.

For the most part NFL level DCs will figure out things after a couple weeks of film. Happens to everyone besides the greats. Now it's on Roman to scheme up a rebuttal.
