Pats game winning fg coming up. As a Bills fan keeping Lawrence away from NE and watching how bad these two teams are is a dream come true.
NE has 74 million in cap space this offseason when teams are going to have to cut players because of the cap going down.
They will beef up the roster and still have Belichick they won’t be down that long.

Caps not gonna end up going down that much with the vaccine news. Most elite guys have already been extended or will be tagged

The Patriots don’t want elite guys. They build up their roster with depth guys.
They don’t have depth right now.
Teams are going to have to cut players.
The cap is going to be 175 million projected.

Congrats Jets you got Lawrence.
Patriots will be trading their first round pick 2 times now.
Great.

Cap won't go down that much with the vaccine news, will be some cap casualties but other teams have massive cap space ie Jags Jets Colts

The Patriots cap space will allow them to beef up the roster.
There will be fits.
The team needs a TE. Hunter Henry is a perfect fit.

The team needs WRs Chris Godwin, Allen Robinson, Kennan Allen, Kenny Golloday all FAs.

The offense will not be this thin next year.

Literally no coach wouldn’t go for it on 4th down.
Like nobody kicks a FG at the 1 yard line.
It was such a dumb question.

Not true, recently fired moron extraordinaire Dan Quin kicked a fg on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line down 17 to 13 with 2 minutes and change left at the 49ers in 2015. i remember this well cause it was the last leg of a big parlay for me..all i needed was a falcons win...they of course never got the ball back after the FG.

in fact, the patriots kicking a FG tonight would have been more defensible since they needed two scores anyway. ATL needed one score...

(I'll try my best Alsacs sandbagging my own team here) I saw the Chargers mentioned as a possible Jets victim. Don't rule out the Raiders. Two years ago they came east for a 1PM game at Met Life on the first Sunday of December and laid an absolute stink bomb. The west coast 10 AM thing combined with an awful defense; I wouldn't be shocked if we see bad Carr and the Raiders lose.

You watched the game last night? Everything I said about the Patriots was spot on.
I want my team too be good I don’t sandbag.
This year they suck snd should have lost to the Jets.

Welcome to 6-8 win zone hell. May you stay there for decades to come.
Pats will likely finish 5-11 this year.
It’s going to take as long as it takes to find a solid QB prospect.
Most of the NFL now has young good QBs so I am not worried it will take that long.

The organization is paying its bill this season. We will see how they spend their cap space.

Finding that right QB can take years and in some cases decades. Pats fans have been spoiled, 75% of us have been in QB hell for decades. Indy and a few others like GB have been able to transition to another great QB. Most have been looking for years.

I also would tell fans of Cincy, Miami and even The Chargers to pump the brakes a bit, many a young qb has looked good early only to fade once teams adjust. Although I must say Herbert looks like the real deal ditto for Burrow.

Think most Phins fans are more excited about our defense and other pieces rather than just Tua. Flores really has the team playing hard. Also LOVE Christian Wilkins

If the Jets are 0-15 before the finale against the Pats, I could imagine the QB running backwards like Nunes did against Michigan
If the game means nothing to the Pats and Bill has a chance of keeping the Jets from getting Lawrence he will do it.

There is no way that game will determine it .. the jets will not have a win

Its possible Jacksonville could only have one win, so if the Jets won the last week it could mean something. The Jags schedule is brutal Steelers, Ravens, Packers, Bears, Titans, Vikings, Colts. Its going to come down to Jets vs Jags.
